Hopefully, somewhere these rails will meet. This is one of the very very girigiri shots because every 5 minutes a train from either sides pass... or even from both sides.

This might look like a black & white photo at first glance, but it's actually not. Those just happened to be the colors of the scene.

My 2nd arrival to SFO after arriving from Switzerland. Today i am returning from Las Vegas on a United 737.

In case of parallel viewing, the size of photograph is decided by the distance of eyes and we have to bear with a small photograph.

Then I propose an asymmetrical parallel format like the photograph of looking.

If you see the photograph with a parallel methods over the both ends of 3 fingers upraised at hand, you should be able to do corporal vision also with a big photograph.

Please try here. You can see a bigger (A4 size) photograph than the upper one here.

137. August 15 2010. Parallel bars. My youngest daughter, Cailin, performed today in a gymnastics contest. She did really well. Thank heavens the parallel bars were up my end of the hall so I could get a good photo.

The scenery in New Zealand is just unreal. I really had to remind myself to try and stay creative with the photos I took.

Secret door into the private gardens at Benthall Hall

August 2008, Creemore ON. Last Wednesday was a very long drive to get from A to B. It was nice to finally get to the cottage. Mmm... beer. And a swim.

Parallel parking is such a hassle, especially when parking spots are scarce. Here, the snow-covered cars seem frozen in place after last night's snowfall. East 93rd Street, New York City.

No need of any description. Done in Barbastro (Huesca) (Spain).

Leo Lionni (1910-1999) is best known as the author and illustrator of forty children's picture books including the Caldecott Honor recipients Inch By Inch (1961), Swimmy (1964), Frederick (1968), and Alexander And The Wind-Up Mouse (1970). In addition to his children's work, Lionni worked in advertising, was the art director of Fortune magazine for twelve years, and was a well regarded painter and sculptor. Parallel Botany (1977) is his only book length fiction for adults.

In the summer of 2012, Audrey Snyder and I collaborated on a railbiking and printing project, Parallel Cases. We biked atop abandoned railroads in Northern California and Oregon with a small printing press in tow, chasing after the largely forgotten history of tramp printers — itinerant printers who criss-crossed the U.S. during the heyday of handset type. When we returned to New York, we printed this book about the journey.
