One of my first photos of the new year. A beautiful hike at Sky Meadows State Park, and the rains of the previous day made for great puddle reflections.

Neat rows of circular bales is a rare sight on the moor, so I stopped to grab this panoramic while the evening sun was still catching the valley side.

Wishing everyone a great week ahead!

no one can tell us we’re right

no one can say that we’re wrong

never would ask you to stay

oohhh I want to send my heart to you

oohhh why is this so hard to do

oohhh I want to give my life to you

I know so much that stands in our way

please have the courage to stay

I’d never send you away...

this was shot ~5 minutes after the previous shot. there were some seaweeds in the distance that I didn't bother to cleanup.

while shooting the previous shot, i didn't want to put the horizon line in the middle, but also didn't want to cut the sky nor the ground due to the cloud formations. so i decided to throw the 50-50 split horizon line "rule" out of the window. for this view, it was easier to leave out a portion of the sky.
