One of my first photos of the new year. A beautiful hike at Sky Meadows State Park, and the rains of the previous day made for great puddle reflections.
Debden broadway puddle Essex England. it was actually raining and a little windy. I will try this again with no rain for a complete mirror effect next time. I tried without a tripod yesterday but there was too much noise. Hmm third time lucky and hope nobody is watching me as I must look crazy at 0130 in the morning lol
Photography is for me a way of representing reality through the heart and emotions.

On Weston Pier a few years ago. The seagull is the only one in the picture not being funelled towards the building at the end to have their money extracted by enticing amusements.
Neat rows of circular bales is a rare sight on the moor, so I stopped to grab this panoramic while the evening sun was still catching the valley side.

If you can't beat 'em , join 'em. I commented along with my last image that there were a lot of overhead cables in this area so I thought , might as well use them to my advantage. I took this near Montalcino as the sun was setting.
( Please note these are main pylons running through the area and there are not many of this size, some of the larger farms have small pylons , other than that it's mostly telegraph poles like anywhere else ).
