An older Housing Development Board block that reflects in a pool of water in the car park. Does an alternate reality exists on the other side?

For the All New Scavenger Hunt #6 Parallel lines.

There was a steepness in the darkness

I wanted to cut it like a comet crash

Hit the city, where you had echoed from a flash

Made it all seem not so bad

'Cause we were parallel lines running through the whole sky

And even in the low light, we were aligned

'Cause we were parallel lines, separate the whole time

But even in the divide, you and I

Don't dare repeat this

But when I lay alone that night

I let the city see me cry

And in my weakness

I wish you hadn't closed your eyes

Crossed the city, open mine

'Cause we were parallel lines, running through the whole sky

And even in the low light, we were aligned

'Cause we were parallel lines, separate the whole time

But even in the divide, you and I

I watched you comb your hands through the light

Every detail spilled from your outline

All at once you filled my eyes

And I could see it all for the first time

'Cause we were parallel lines running through the whole sky

(The whole sky)

And even in the low light, we were aligned

(We were aligned)

'Cause we were parallel lines, separate the whole time

(Whole time)

And even in the divide, you and I

Silhouetted Rock formations and a glistening seascape near the San Simeon, California Elephant Seal Rookery at sunset. The parallel nature and similar shape of the cliff and off-shore rock formations was the inspiration for the image title.

Lisbon – September 2019

Riveting huh? another detail of the iron bridge stretching over the Avon on St Philip's Marsh. Along with rust I think rivets are possibly one of my favorite things to photograph

This Photo is 2 out of 4 from my 'Borders' project set by Southampton uni for the interview, I got an offer from them and they seemed really pleased with how I interpreted the word borders.

I captured reflections and displayed them upside down, I feel in doing this it adds a lot and makes you look, think and look again.

I liked the layers and symmetry of this scene.

I love the rawness in Korean life, especially in the countryside. This is a street scene from the little village of Hayang, which is a few minutes outside of Daegu.

In this monochromatic composition, the parallel narratives of tradition and modernity converge, as an aged wooden chair stands in dialogue with its modern plastic counterpart, symbolizing the dynamic interplay between timeless craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.

It's definitely an aquired talent and a must for living in the city. I think they should give classes on it myself. There's a slight trick to it I learned.
