Silhouetted Rock formations and a glistening seascape near the San Simeon, California Elephant Seal Rookery at sunset. The parallel nature and similar shape of the cliff and off-shore rock formations was the inspiration for the image title.

This Photo is 2 out of 4 from my 'Borders' project set by Southampton uni for the interview, I got an offer from them and they seemed really pleased with how I interpreted the word borders.

I captured reflections and displayed them upside down, I feel in doing this it adds a lot and makes you look, think and look again.

I liked the layers and symmetry of this scene.

I love the rawness in Korean life, especially in the countryside. This is a street scene from the little village of Hayang, which is a few minutes outside of Daegu.

Reading is a major junction on the Great Western network with lines from the South West meeting those from from Bristol, South Wales, Oxford and Cheltenham to the west of the station.

This view of Reading is now history of course as the junction was rebuilt as part of the GW main line upgrade for electrification.

Two HST sets, both in GW cigarette packet livery, arrive on the Up and Down slow lines with services from the Didcot direction as the main eastbound platform was occupied as well at the time.
