Yesterday evening was Leamington's Lantern Parade, with so many lanterns that the stilt-walking angels were already leaving the Pump Room Gardens before the tail end had left the bandstand. This red angel has very fetching long hair - no wonder the other angel and the horse look amazed...

A window in a building at Gravesend's Albion Parade, an area immediately west of Gordon Promenade and the marina, which may be referred to as Gravesend's glamorous sector, perhaps. Albion Parade may be described as the backstreets.
Albion Parade is mostly a number of gloriously run down warehouses and workshops, which looks derelict but isn't. If you think it may be just the place for John Mills to have spread a little of his plucky little blighter magic, he may well have done as the area may - MAY - have been featured (well..appeared in) a moving picture called The Long Memory, which was so noir it is unwatchable...

Manchester City Football Club last night, 14 May 2018, held a parade to celebrate winning the Premier League and the Carabao Cup.
The parade made its way through the streets in fabulous Manchester sunshine.
Large numbers of fans turned out to cheer on their team.
The team, staff and guests travelled the route in three open topped busses.
Greater Manchester Police officers and staff were on hand to ensure the safety and security of all.
