This is a prototype for an upcoming project I'm working on. It's rough around the edges but good enough as a first attempt at making a tree from paper.

Shot this with a digital medium format camera for my still life assignment for Studio Photography. I had a lot of fun shooting this assignment. I was really excited and I pretty much wanted to marry it.
I used scrapbooking paper to make the trees, which created some great tree bark texture. I hand cut and glued the trees together. Clear plastic for the water and used a blue gel on a light.
I think I might actually sell prints of this on etsy.

* Tree, handcut out of white paper, on background of green strips of paper that were torn from magazine pages.
* Boom, handgeknipt uit wit papier, op een achtergrond van groene gescheurde stroken papier uit tijdschriftpaginas.
These trees looked almost like birch trees but with pale orange peeling sheets of bark, hence the name paper trees. This is Moalepa Trail
This texture is free to use in your work, but you may not reshare, distribute, or claim/imply it to be your own. I would love to see what you create.
