This is the new version of my paper trees- a great combination of green repurposed file folders and vintage National Geographic atlas pages. Hang them and watch them spin, or stand them in your holiday display.
Each tree is hand cut and machine stitched. They ship flat, packaged in a BOPP cello envelope. All you have to do is gently fold back the papers to create your unique ornament.
They measure just over 3 inches high and just over 5 inches wide at the base.
Everything looks just as it was back in the day, with the exception of the ramp, which was added after we moved. Also, there used to be a play fence in the yard in front of that callistemon or bottlebrush tree, which i always called a paper tree or butter tree. I used to play with a white cat up in that tree. I'd also enjoy peeling the thin papery bark from the tree.

detail of the paper tree... it's made entirely of paper... and only paper! Well and glue too. :)
Constructed of paper tubes of different diameter and lengths. It's a site specific installation and took me 2 months of 8 hour days!!!
