Yesterday frustrated - today a little bit euphoric!
I think this is the first kusudama/ modular origami designed by me... well I think so, I have never seen such modell and I folded everything without anny diagramm...ähm...

developed in 1+14 Ilfosol 3 for 7.5 minutes
Designed by Eric Gjerde. Folded by me. This is a great tesselation. Fairly complex and was difficult to fold the first time. I gave up a couple of times before finally getting it. Props to Eric for a great design.

It's the first electra model I've made and I'm surprise to find it quite sturdy!
This model was designed by David Mitchell and is made up of 30 identical units.

This paper penguin was handmade by one of the staff. I think one of the housekeepers from the Philippines? (It was a very international crew.) It was auctioned off at the charity auction at the end of the cruise.

I was chatting with Joei who's a calligrapher in Japan, she taught me to use 1:10 bleach to play with photos.
I have so many "failed" photos that are either too dark or so meaningless I wish they were never developed. Now I can play with them without wasting!
My late maternal grandfather was a sea lover. He usually went on fishing trips round the island with my uncles and aunties, even my dad went while dating my mum :p
I remember my little family boat trips when I was little. That was fun. Too bad we don't do that anymore. Anyways these boat shaped joss paper are for him. ♥
