A new paper shoes collection for my new show on Aug 22, 2008 - Unique Artist Expo at Columbia University in NYC.

Did I tell you that I sold the whole previous collection (30 shoes) to a collector in Belgium! ;-) I was so happy!

Yet another nice model from Oschene

Done finding the references. I knew those 1/7 divisions would come in handy some day.

It reminds me somehow of this model by another great origami creator by the same name only spelled differently. Philip Shen's dish

Empty toilet paper rolls gain new life as a blinged out crown and a felt flower cuff bracelet. Cass created each with a tiny bit of help from mommy. This was created for the August 2011 Kids' swap on craftster.org.

I use Fuji paper in the Ishibashi field camera. The film box and camera back are sitting on top of a large changing bag. I use the bag to load paper into the back, and then transfer it to the dev tank after exposure. I can get two sheets in the tank length-ways. The brown bottles contain Ilford Dev, Stop and Fix, and the fourth is water for washing. My dark cloth is at the top of the picture.

This time folded from thinner paper. A really nice backlight!

I used a spirograph toy with a pencil on grey paper to make these very subtle patterns that I'm just in love with.

She couldn't decide what to write on her new paper, so she opted to have a go at all the letters.

She has also opted for a fancy f.

In other news: Today Tim made "cupboard ham". That is ham, with no recipe and ingredients already found in our cupboards. It was good. We served it with potato salad and some green vegetable leaf thing that came in the veg box but we have no idea what it's called.
