Still haven't uploaded anything in ages, mainly because my band has sort of taken over things last month, what with recording n all that jazz!
Anywho, this is a paper sculpture as part of my uni work; it's the only thing I've had chance to do!
Hopefully should be back in the swing of things in the next few weeks.
" Capsa solis", but I turned over it creating a puff star on the bottom.
When I'll buy a bulb we'll can see the model illuminated!!!

A concept that several people have explored.
From a square of 25 cm on the side of curious paper. The octagons were small so I decided not to purse them, instead I did these "things" a la Roberto Gretter's flower.
A slight variation on the previous model that does not allow to do the improved rim.
Folded from an octagon cut out of a 17 x 17 cm of stardream.
my friend 802.11 posted a link to this really fun and interesting project triangulation.jgate.de/ where u can turn any of your images into a cubism-like art

it has been a long time since I folded something snapologic, but lately posted photo from talina_78 inspired me so much, that I couldn't resist... this is the first time I didn't make any plan before folding, so I don't know how much pieces was used, but it's not so difficult to count
incidentally I found that snapologic solids could be nicely used as lampshades casting nice shadows... (this egg maybe not so perfect, but it works:)
Snapology by Heinz Strobl with little variation to let more light to go in and out...
Please, please, has anyone come up with these? I would like to make a CP and contribute at least one to the German Origami Convention book. I don't want to "steal" anyone's idea :D
This one reminds me a lot of Daniel Kwan's works but I couldn't find it...
And if they are mine, any suggestion for a name? :D

Punch is 1 inch.
The blade is now well worn and leaves shards of paper in the cut out that I attacked with little blade to clean up
Nowadays I see more kids in front of computers instead of good ol' fashioned paper & crayons

Paper doll with newspaper cartoons on reverse side. Handwritten Ann. From my stuff I know nothing else about these.
I taught the flower tower at the recent Origami Bogotá 2014 convention. Purposedly I didn't explain that you can do alternating twists (the most common version) and same direction twists. The talented Juan David Bernal folded the same side twists and then put the model in its tower state, which gave it a nice depth effect I had not seen before, so I had to try it.
Folded from an octagon cut off of a 40 cm on the side square of Curious paper.

“Here's what's not beautiful about it: from here, you can't see the rust or the cracked paint or whatever, but you can tell what the place really is. You can see how fake it all is. It's not even hard enough to be made out of plastic. It's a paper town. I mean, look at it, Q: look at all those culs-de-sac, those streets that turn in on themselves, all the houses that were built to fall apart. All those paper people living in their paper houses, burning the future to stay warm. All the paper kids drinking beer some bum bought for them at the paper convenience store. Everyone demented with the mania of owning things. All the things paper-thin and paper-frail. And all the people, too. I've lived here for eighteen years and I have never once in my life come across anyone who cares about anything that matters.”
- John Green, Paper Towns
Long time no see, Flickr. Even though I did say that I would upload more regularly, but I haven't really had much motivation. The snow keeps coming back and it feels like an eternal winter.
This is definitely inspired by Ellie! Go check her out, she's great.
Hope you're all well xx
