The Pak-Ou Caves are located 25 km north of Luang Prabang, Laos, overlooking the Mekong river.
The Pak-Ou Caves are one of the most respected holy sites in Laos. They have a long history as a shrine to the river spirit and Lord Buddha. Packed with over 4,000 mostly wooden Buddha statues, the caves are cut in a limestone cliff at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou rivers. There are two caves to be visited, the lower cave called Tham Ting and the upper cave Tham Theung.
Visitors usually travel by boat on the Mekong river from Luang Prabang to the caves. There is no road access.

The Swat battle is seen as a test of Pakistan's resolve to take on militants challenging the government in the northwestern regions near Afghanistan. Up to 3 million people have fled the fighting and the exodus has raised fears of a humanitarian crisis. (AP Photo/Emilio Morenatti)

The 7.5 cm PaK 40 (7.5 cm Panzerabwehrkanone 40) was a German 7.5 centimetre anti-tank gun developed in 1939-1941 by Rheinmetall and used during the Second World War. PaK 40 formed the backbone of german anti-tank guns for the latter part of World War II.
Fun fact--when Mattel made Pak items it was for the original (and slightly more slender) Barbie. As a result, if I don't play around with the seams, the crotch on this blouse pops open like a horrible stripper joke. I think I've got it right, but I'm still playing with it. :-P
Sabira Sultana, 30, poses for a photograph at her home in Jhelum, Pakistan Wednesday, July 24, 2008. While being pregnant Sabira was burnt with gasoline by her husband for not giving enough dowry upon their marriage. Sabira has undergone plastic surgery twenty times to try to recover from her scars with the help of Depilex-Smileagain Foundation in Lahore. Smileagain is an organization that helps burn victims to reintegrate into society through medical and psychological support, sometimes employing them as beauticians at Depilex beauty centers. Sabira is one of the 240 registered victims of Smileagain's help list in Pakistan. (AP Photo/Emilio Morenatti)
I had to use this fabric. Perfect storm of Peanuts, Halloween, works with vintage pak and just plain super cute. And (if there was such a thing) I want bonus points for recreating the purse/bag for Suburban Shopper. :-)
