I think I'd really enjoy this activity, which, I did not even know what it was until today, running into a young fellow who was just hosing down his paddleboard and happy to answer my questions.
He said, "you have to keep loose," regarding balance.
This water doesn't have enough bay-like protection to get warm, so I imagine I'd have to be prepared to get dunk chilled for a period until I cultivated the necessary looseness.
