I was attempting to capture an incredible blue red sunset when the paddle boarder went right through the frame. I had set up the camera on the tripod and the rest was pure luck.
Stand Up Paddleboarding on the water. I was lucky there was no wind when I took this shot. It's almost always windy at sunset on the other side of Haldimand Beach in Gaspé.
Another day at Ocean Reef Marina. I saw this lone paddleboarder in the Marina. Its an attractive place to paddleboard as its safe and out of the wind. I really liked the contrast between the small figure on the paddleboard and the massive sea wall.

The final one
This is the final sunset shot in this series. In keeping with other entries, there is a paddleboarder, silhouettes and lots of Nairn loveliness.
I used an ND filter to cope with the strength of the light and get the effect that I was looking for.

Paddleboarding at sunset... If you've never tried Paddleboarding because you think it looks hard, then you might be surprised. I mean, you don't want to start on a wavy ocean, but it's really easy to get the hang of! I think most of the reason it is such a good workout is because your torso is constantly tensed because you're afraid to lose balance. Then, after you get comfy with that, you stop tensing and focus on paddling.
Arrived in Auckland ~8am Saturday morning, by that afternoon a good bud of mine had the boys out on a Paddleboard in Auckland Harbour while Chizuko and I took care of some errands.

"In January 2015, Kristina and I travelled to the gorgeous Riviera Maya on the Mexican Yucatan peninsula. An hour or so south of Cancun, we spent most of our sun-soaked holiday in the resort near Tulum, indulging in total gluttony and relaxation. Each morning before breakfast, we would take the time to reconnect with ourselves by spending an hour meditating and practising yoga. Or attempting yoga in my case."

Who knew a minifig could float on a lilypad?
I spotted that pond with very green lilpads which made the color pop against the water and simply decided to put a minifig on top. One great picture, I think.
An annual event in Morro Bay, California
Local newspapers estimated more than 400 participants. The event was a fundraiser for the Friends of the Morro Bay Harbor Department. I had unfortunately scheduled another event to attend that afternoon so I could only stay briefly. And that after having difficulty finding a parking space. (Better planning next year!)
