Well my local Garden Foxes has taken to robbing my bird food bag! Twice in the last few days I've woken up at stupid O'Clock to the noise of the fox running down the garden with a bag of bird food! Fist it was a big bag of sunflower seeds, which she soon discovered was a waste of time, as they still have the shells on, so she just scattered them around the garden instead! Then she stole a bag of peanuts, which she did eat! I keep the food in a large bag next to the back door, which I've been leaving open at night due to it being rather warm here in London at night!
I've moved the bag now, so hopefully the dawn raids will be over lol.:)

This is yet another shot from my trip to Orlando... This is the other eagle at Busch Gardens in Tampa... As I mentioned before, they (the eagles) were very kind to pose for me.. ;-) This one asked to please take his good side, and so I did... :-)

There was a time when the advertisements for Continental Airlines featured the line "the proud bird with the golden tail." It is very much the "golden tail" era at Continental in March 1983 at Houston Intercontinental Airport. I had flown into town aboard this DC-9 from St. Louis and was making a connection with another flight to Tucson. (Scanned from a slide)

This is a hard time for me and my country. A world "Leader" is promoting fear and anger against Mexican people and our country as well. What he doesn't see is that we are living in a globalized world, where a Mexican citizen like myself, can speak and write the English language, I have relatives in the US, US Citizens!, I buy products from the USA, I travel and spend dollars in the United Stated which, in a little part, helps american economy.
Yes, there are MASSIVE problems in my country, security may be in it lowest level since the Mexican revolution in 1910, there are a lot of drug cartels, and politicians do nothing but to steal from the government treasure, but Mexico is not only that.
Mexico is a country of dreams, of smiling people, where a single family can live together for many years. Mexico is a colorful country, a country of hope, a country of devotion, a religious nation.
Mexico is the home of the Virgin of Guadalupe, the home of many workers that do the toughest jobs in the united states, Mexico is a country of love, of unity of goals.
Now, more than ever, i feel proud of being Mexican.
