There are at least 8 waterfalls to be found in Brooklyn's own Prospect Park. Who needs those stupid artificial waterfalls lining the East River. Here is a resource that everyone can appreciate not just the well heeled types who can board expensive Pleasure Boats. I've also heard the sound of them can be quite soothing to the body and soul.
There are many places that, when revisited, seem smaller than you remember them. Prospect Park is completely the opposite - it seems huge. What a wonderful gift for Reading and long may it stay that way.
