The incredible foggy morning on Tampa Bay today was something to savor. I had my iPhone camera ready for whatever interesting visual would transpire. I knew it would turn out to be a unique moment.
A surreal scene. The sky, sea, and sand blending into one made the perfect backdrop. It starkly silhouetted my two German Shepherds.
You can see Kennedy on the left watch playful K2 approaching him from the right. I clicked just as it seemed like a staring showdown, starting shenanigans.

Thankfully my blessed home in Apollo Beach, and the Tampa Bay area in Florida, rarely get truly cold in winter. But I try to light up the various fireplaces here at least once every year, usually on a chilly winter’s eve in the holidays. A beautiful beloved friend, whom I also owe for the gift of Kennedy she gave me, took this photo. The always chill German Shepherd posed for this portrait fireside, while casually resting his paw on my leg. No barking, just basking in the glow of love, and the fire.

Letter of Resignation
Dear [blank]: After much deliberation,
without qualm, scruple, or further delay,
I hereby tender my formal resignation
as your lover and future fiance, and partner in life.
The job provides too little satisfaction:
too many hours of unneeded duress,
a paucity of productive interaction,
uncertain working conditions, and endless stress.
Pay-wise, I'm undervalued and disenchanted:
advancement's slow, the bonus is routine,
my "on-call" overtime is taken for granted,
and benefits are few and far between.
This document, I'm hopeful, underscores
my deep regret. I'm very truly yours....
