The Popeye Village was built as a film set for the production of the 1980 live-action musical feature film Popeye, produced by Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Productions starring Robin Williams. Not the greatest movie ever made but the location is well worth a visit. Amazingly built with lots of love for detail.
Popeye the sailor man. Finally managed to get a decent pic of the bow artwork on the fishing trawler Blueye. Great colours with a few little scrapes, just like the comic book character himself.

At the Dunnville Mudcat Festival Parade on Saturday. This guy was the greatest. He saw me with the camera and he held this pose for 10 to 15 seconds while I got the shot. Only when I gave him the thumbs up did he relax, This is my favourite shot from the day! What a character!
