I can't claim this photo.. My mate Strongy was the one holding & firing my camera. Great shot for his first attempt with a DSLR.

However, I will claim that I set the camera up.. LOL

Photo faite au salon de la photo à Paris

My father turned 97 this week, so the family got together for a little celebration today. I set my camera up and took photos from time to time for our family album, but in this shot I set my timer during lunch, and surprised everyone with one of my Granny selfie stunts. It got a laugh and made a pretty good group photo – but I’ve cropped this version down to just me for the We’re Here! theme, "It's me."

I went back into my archives for this antique stereo viewer and photo cards.

A friend is on the verge of releasing some new material and wanted some shots to include with the release. He was impressed with an image that I took from this location earlier in the summer, so we headed out to the same spot.

As you can tell from my photostream, people are not a focus for me and neither of us were too sure on how to set things up. We tried a few different ideas, but this one seemed to work out the best.

Just some fun to raise a smile on Saturday.

As I load these forgotten photos during a time where I don't dress, I remember a time when I wanted to dress but not take photos. I went to Southern Conference, and was trying to be a little more "in the moment" and not take so many pictures. (My "in the moment" moment also involved being very drunk a lot of the time, but that's another story.) Point is: I rather regret not slowing down and capturing a few more shots. Because now, I certainly don't remember much.

This particular shot is from 2018 or so, when I was dressing Every Damn Night, and taking Thousands of Photos.

My favorite Rhododendron "Cornell Pink", hidden in the woods along Paradise Pond. Although clearly not that hidden. It was tough to get a clear shot without this hungry bumblebee bombing the scene. >8}

I was trying to take a nice photo of the heather, that our local authority is trying to re-introduce to the Firehills ;-) HCS!

Walking in the Rain in Barcelona I recently spend some days in Barcelona - and it rained. Of course it did. Anyway, it was a great chance to follow people around that held an umbrella, to try to create a nice moody image later. And so I did. Phill found this old photo yesterday and what a laugh it gave us. I am about 23 years old and we had only been married a year. We rented this awful flat in Bristol, luckily we weren't there long. He can't remember why he took it apart from he thought it would be funny. This was pre pre pre selfies and he took it on a timed exposure: that is why Phill is very blurred whilst I am just slightly blurred. That is Bunny in the right hand corner and I am holding Wizzy, a grey persian. Both were rescue cats. Just look at the awful wallpaper..........agghhh. Also this was before anyone had heard of a duvets here in the UK so it was layers of blankets back then. How things change: talking of which just look at my huge glasses - very fashionable back then.. My hair was very thick and long so I used to plait it before I went to bed so it wouldn't tangle. What memories.

Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls of Iceland. It is very picturesque and therefore its photo can be found in many books and calendars. It was a waypoint during the first leg of The Amazing Race 6.

Seljalandsfoss is situated in between Selfoss and Skógafoss at the road crossing of Route 1 (the Ring Road) with the track going into Þórsmörk.

This waterfall of the river Seljalandsá drops 60 metres (200 ft) over the cliffs of the former coastline. It is possible to go behind the waterfall.

Of course, what woman, after spending a "few" minutes doing her makeup, wants to cover it all up with a mask? Not this one!

(EXPLORED!! :D :D) I did feel a little bit awkward taking this photo at the park with people watching me.

Found photos. Album found at Limerock Inn in Rockland, Maine. Photos appear to be from 1880s and 1890s.
