When shooting in the desert and you encounter cloudless blue skies, drive into town and get a large slush drink or smoothie. When the sun begins to sink toward the horizon, drive back out into the desert, find a shaded wash and walk around until you find something interesting to shoot

This is an APS-H photo shot on Fujifilm APS Nexia A200 using a Yashica Profile 4000iX camera.
I did this because all the equipment involved was cheap and easy to get, but it sucked. It wasn't worth it. Here's my blog post about it.
This little weevil may be why my strawberries are not doing so well on this plant! The flowers seem to be beautiful but still to get a descent strawberry from it!!! Photo Bombing Hoverfly 0)

FYI it is a mirror image of a shot I posted in December, as advised by Alison.
Engagement photos we took back in March. Our photographer was Yvonne and her husband David. They were great team and so fun to be around. And they are also proud Shiba owners!

Like I said in my previous upload Ray possessed quite a few photos. Many that are really old, we have no idea whom the people in those are. They are still great to look at though. It amazed me that the quality of them is so damn good.
Back to photo above.
Being as I like to play with the camera I felt the need to take a photo of some sort.
Rays breifcase.
Ray is pictured 2nd photo in top of the open case wearing the overcoat/mac.
Bicycle image is Ray with brother Jan's Dad.
Next to it is Ray with Auntie Ethel.
Bottom right is Ray & brother plus dog.
Jan knows some of the others I don't and she's not here to ask.

Every generation has unique words that pop up in their vernacular. My father told me his peers used to describe a good thing as the "bees knees." With the advent of smartphones, a phenom known as "photo-bombing" is popular. If you have good eyes, you might be able to see 2 interlopers trying to steal the attention from a red-crowned sandhill crane.

FINAL PRINT SALE PHOTO & INFORMATION! READREADREAD:)
As the title reveals – this outcome was definitely unintentional. Last Sunday was a welcome break from the stormy and wet climate so we visited another place we have not been to yet – Dawlish Warren. The funfair and arcade at the beachside was not my cup of tea but the boys had a fab time collecting seashells at the beach. The photo I wanted to take was a bit uninspired – the usual long exposure with some other feature in the frame. The groyne was not enough for me so I carried that large piece of driftwood from further up the beach down to where I wanted it – totally staged! After having set up my camera and waiting for some waves (not very impressive ones with no wind but beggars can’t be choosers) I pressed the shutter when that pug stormed into the frame and marked the driftwood as his/her territory ;-)
I took some photos without any animal intervention but at least I have a story to tell for this one.
Dogs seem to find it fascinating to have a person crouch at the beach next to a tripod with a black thing on - I had that experience several times already - one time a dog almost marked his territory on my leg hahaha
