People in Toulouse didn't seem at all concerned about the developing pandemic, but every pharmacy had a sign stating that they were out of hand sanitizer and masks. I saw almost no masks in use on the busy streets.
This was March 14th. The streets of Toulouse were bustling, with crowded markets and cafes. That night, President Macron closed France, and the next day, the streets were nearly empty.
