(346/366) Despite the crowds it was lovely to wander around Waterford city centre on Sunday evening, the shop window displays were so bright & inviting. Our pharmacies don't just dispense medicine they sell a wide variety of gifts too HWW!

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I wasn't going to photography this man when I saw him, it felt to be a little gratuitous for some reason - until he stepped in front of the pharmacy. The juxtaposition of the signs in the window made a powerful shot that I felt told a story that needed to be told. Ethics in street photography is a personal thing - the shot is more than being about the subject for me here and that made it acceptable for me to capture. Wishing all of my Flickr friends a great weekend of photography.

This pharmacy is built where our city's earliest hospital once stood. It's great to see them keep that history alive with the story of that hospital told in the windows.
