Always looking for new perspective on an old subject. One morning around dawn I crawled down into a ditch as low as I could go and snapped a series of photos with the sun shining through the tall yellow grasses. What resulted was a series of photos that look as though the elk are grazing in a wildfire.

Rose,s are in their prime now.

"I am humility, nothing more and nothing less. I am one blade of grass in a sea of grass. I am one wave in an endless ocean of waves. I am one glowing star in a galaxy of stars." ~ Frederick Lenz

I only took a handful of photos today and didn't realise I'd knocked the camera onto an unusual setting that rendered them fairly useless. I had to make excessive use of photoshop to recover something for my shot of the day.

from another point of view.

This is a view of a portion of the falls and dam at Idaho Falls. I stacked ND8 and ND4 filters to lengthen the exposures.

Pensacola, Florida Rokinon 12mm F11

Used the Tilt screen for this Wild Pink Clover Shot.

This is called "Perspective" as this "cliff face" is only about 40cm high and the "wave" is no more than 3cm in height.

The camera was right on the sand and less than a meter away from the rock. It is absolutely amazing the perspective one can create at a focal length of 10mm.

It took a while to get this and I just about lost my camera in the process. The wave almost swamped my gear but I snatched it out the way just in time.
