Traveling in southern Maine near summer's end was a delight. Lakes, ocean walks, lobster rolls, antique stores, art museums and weather in the high 70's a paradise to enjoy.
PS: Tell Spotiy, Alexa, Siri, and Amazon to play some music by JOHN WILLIAM HAMMOND ( use all 3 names) great variety, beauty and fun too.

Valentines eve, so wonderful to bask in the air of romance, among the hums of other happy lovers and cheerful bachelors/bachelorettes. With gorgeous music, and a firm hold on peaceful, lovely moments that can arise out of Second Life. Dancing at House of Willuna, a true delight.
Had the honor to dance with Iason at House of Willuna, who through on a wonderful party featuring live music. It is not too late to check out the absolutely gorgeous decorations, so don't wait to check it out!
I am often berated for not driving my car enough. Because I don't, the battery constantly fails. I have various devices to prevent this now, but it still happens. I don't really care that much... But I did grow frustrated yesterday and, after starting with a new device, drove for 50 minutes around the county, capturing certain images that I wanted and just enjoying a gorgeous day, outside, on the loose. Towards Wasdalehead, Wastwater, Lake District 1st August 2005
A time to dig in the archives ...
One of my favourite photos, full of the memories of meeting up with two 'branches' of the family who were staying up there.
What I wrote back then:
"A grey day. After two hours of driving through the rain and tyre spray I finally reached the lakeland coast. Out to sea the clouds had broken and the sun was shining brightly on the horizon. I turned onto the rough single track road which would lead me to Wastwater, heading back inland into the cloud and rain. The road twisted its way slowly through ancient stone built villages and wooded valleys, rising all the time and giving me false hope at every summit that I would finally see the lake.
"I rounded a corner and suddenly saw it spreading out before me: Wastwater, the deepest lake in England, surrounded by the high peaks of Scafell Pike [highest peak in England just on the right of this shot] and Great Gable [the one in the centre].
"It was one of those moments which will stay with me for a long time. The cloud parted as I stood and watched the grey water, turning it a wonderful shade of blue, the clouds receding to the high peaks and opening a vista of unspoiled beauty.
"The small track continued to wind its way perilously towards Wasdalehead, my destination, the place where I would meet up with the people I feel instantly comfortable with, no matter that we have not all met up for the longest time. Memories of all those childhood holidays we spent together came flooding back ... playing happily on Cornish beaches, or wandering through carefree Highland glens.
"Peace, perfect peace."
.
I thought I was someone else someone good.

This is a 10 shot panoramic stitch done in Microsoft ICE and the image is then subsequently processed in Photoscape and a couple of other software packages.
Do you know that there are about 150 people in this image! This place is BIG!
Thank you for visiting and I hope that you enjoy the work

Ne volim januar i bele zimske vragove
U svakom snegu vidim iste tragove
Tragove malih stopa, broj 30 i ko zna
Kako polako odlaze.
Vise ne prolazim ulicom Dositejevom
I nemam pojma kad neko pita gde je to
Tih 206 koraka, duzinom tog sokaka
Nikada nisam brojao
Nisam te nikad cuvao
Nisam te nikada mazio, pazio
Tvoju sam ljubav gazio, svemu smisljao broj.
Nisam te nikad stedeo
I nisam umeo stati i ostati
Sta ce od mene postati
Mali andjele moj.

Much to love when the sun offers inspiring moments such as this. Days such as this tend to make me late for work. :)
