Taxying for departure after a fuel stop on its delivery flight across the pond to Brazil is this Pilatus PC-12 at Prestwick, Scotland.
This wonderful Bedford PC-based 'ute"was seen amongst the many other interesting exhibits and collections situated within the Stories from the Road transport museum, that is located just outside of Port Pirie in South Australia.
The State Governments of Australia at the time, keen to promote local industry and employment for their comparatively young and underpopulated country, insisted on "local content"for some imported vehicles. Vehicles came to Australia either fully built-up or in "kit form "for local assembly.
Utiity vehicles like this example often arrived as "çhassis scuttles", the cab and utility bodywork then being manufactured and fitted to make a complete vehicle for the Australian domestic market.

Not the greatest shot but a Penn Central SD45 and two F7's roll a short train at Calumet Ave. in Hammond in 1975. The east end of Colehour Yard is at left and the old Indian Hill and Iron Range car dumpper is at the right.
Penn Central 6012 is in charge of Chicago to New York City train NY4 at mile 219 on the PC's Canada Division Mainline. The boarded up Pelton Tower is in the background as NY4 crosses the Chesapeake and Ohio's Subdivision No. 1.
A scan of an old 110 instamatic print. The first Conrail local to run on the Lehigh Valley Rochester Branch crosses Plains Road at Rochester Jct. in Mendon, NY on April 6, 1976. I had gone down to the junction every day after school in hopes of catching the local, and it took Conrail until April 6 to run the first train down to Lima.

PC-2732 was inspired by Titanfall 2, which is my all-time favorite game. This is my attempt at building a minifigure scale titan!
