I’ve been stung by several jelly fish but I’m not sure I would live to tell about it if I ran into one of these enormous beasts in the water. It’s by far the biggest one I’ve ever seen on the beach here. The ironic thing is, I think they’re floating over from Japan, also the birthplace of Pac-Man. Apparently, millions of these big jelly fish can suddenly appear and cause quite a lot of trouble for ships at sea. The biggest ones get to be over 6 feet in diameter so this one is small by those standards.

My first roll of Agfa Precisa slide film run through the Lomo and cross processed in C41 chemistry.

Just some Lomo snapshots taken around Anchorage on March 29.

Bisogna credere in essa. E non basta nemmeno credere in essa.

When my daughter saw this picture, she found similarities with Pac Man. It's an iconic character in the history of video games, usually shaped with a round mouth. He must eat pac-gums and bonuses (in the form of fruit, and a key 5000 points) in a maze haunted by four ghosts.

A party pack of M&M's can be used for a lot if you can stop yourself from eating them. :-)

Sort of an experiment to find out what the original Pac-Man would look like in LEGO and 3D. Pac-Man, Inky, Blinky, and Pinky are all based on Bram spheres.

It recently occurred to me that the walls in the original Pac-Man game look like something out of Tron (see for yourself here) and so I thought it might be neat to add a grid-type of floor to continue that motif.

And yes, those are minifig heads. :D

wokka-wokka-wokka-wokka...

Tribute to PAC-MAN's 41st birthday.

This is a cheese, a delicious regional cheese from Serra da Canastra in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Back there in the bokeh, pac-maneh is being chased by an upside-down orange ghost. They only appeared on the super extra-special tip-top eighty-third level after sixty-seven hours of constant gaming.

Oh, and there are some orange tulips there too. Except they were really yellow.

The orange ghost was called Otoboke. It translates as 'stupid'.

During Covid boredom, I've been strolling around the house looking for something to photograph. Toilet Paper rolls running scarce in 2020 grabbed my attention since my husband seemed to be hoarding them (kidding). Grabbing a gallon of milk and loaf of bread is a thing of the past. TP is in vogue.

What could have been abstract or interesting turned out to be blurry, lacking luster, and basically flushable :(

Geotagged using Picasa (beta) and Google Earth, using Flickr's EXIF import to place it on the map!
