For this weeks theme I used a sliced orange and a half sliced blueberry. I particularly liked how the blueberry has the top middle part that gives more depth to the eye. I used some candies to represent the pellets Pac Man gobbles. :) Photo straight out of camera.
Hope you guys like it. HMM!!!
In addition to capturing the Hunter's Moon, this series was my test to see how the Moon would look when photographed against a distant horizon with a telephoto lens.
In addition to a nice relative size, the early rising Moon was partially obscured by cloud bands, producing various interesting effects. I thought this Pac-Man or jack-o-lantern look seemed especially appropriate for Halloween.
Later the Moon broke through the clouds as shown in the photo posted before this one.

They are looking at us

For Macro Mondays - Sidelit
At first I was angry that the chestnuts fell out of the shell - it was supposed to be a nice shape to another picture ... but after a closer look I discovered this funny face, with a second look I discovered the face of Pac-Man :) Macro Mondays group is a very inspirational and creative group and often gives a lot of surprising effects :)
HMM :)
San Francisco, CA - 2015
I believe this shot and my previous post are examples of sharing a handful of photos that just work for me. Photos that I don't expect will fully resonate with most people and understand why they wouldn't.
Each has an element that just sits with me, but I suppose that is what comes with spending too much time on a similar subject or just enjoying a certain tone or shadow. Either way I would rather have some that represent what I appreciate than something that just garners more favorites, likes etc.

Pictured here is a close-up shot of London’s all too famous clock tower -- home to the great bell Big Ben. This view was captured looking towards the Palace of Westminster from the south bank of the River Thames.
