Dos Afonsos, 26 October 1996.

A beautiful airworthy Thunderbolt on the platform during the airshow. It wears the markings of 1º Grupo de Aviação de Caça that fought in Italy during WWII.

The serial 226766 however is fake, but it really is a former Brazilian post-war Thunderbolt (serial 4184).

Dos Afonsos is close to Rio de Janeiro and home of the FAB museum.
