shallow depth of field with roses

My intent was to capture this green hydrangea.

EMT Class 222/0 Meridian 222009 arrives in P2 5 minutes down with 1B31 10.05 Nottingham to London St Pancras.

Thameslink Class 387/1 Electrostars 387106 (plus 387126 & 387119) form 1W29 11.40 Bedford to Brighton in P1.

I'm happy with how this turned out. I wanted the viewer to only see the bench through the phone. I also wanted my hand and wrist to be in the photo. I felt that having my full hand and the entire phone instead of seeing my hand and the phone partially added a better composition to the photo.

Place: Creekside Gahanna

Time: 9pm

Goal: Capturing the street and the street lights. Was going for a dark, spooky, scary, lonely vibe.

Photoshop: I first had to straighten the image, and the cropped it because there was a lot of unneeded darkness on the sides. I then did some subtle adjustments in "Camera Raw Filter." I lowered the exposure to get that spooky vibe.

I wanted to get this mirror into the last project, but I just didn't know how to compose the image. I really like the way the sunset and the blurry trees in the background make the mirror stand out!

Time of day: Afternoon

Main focus: Bubble

Why: for such a small puddle there is so much action going on that you have to get close to see.

My concept/character is based on Snow White. She becomes entranced by a mysterious apple flourishing in the dead of winter and is moved to take a bite, only to find it had been poisoned by a nearby family of woodsmen as a trap.

Focused on the Bacardi. I’m not a drinker but this looked interesting to me.

Intent:I wanted to demonstrate the main focus of the hero swinging away from the large group of men who wish to end his existence. The focus is on staying alive and staying away from the threat; which is why the villains are all blurred together as spider-man is not focused on battling each and everyone of them. Instead he is trying to get away from the immediate danger which is their collective existence in this picture.
