Shown here is the area behind the Casthouse of Blast Furnace No. 1 at the Warren, Ohio steel mill complex.
Built in 1922 in Warren, Ohio the blast furnace was once the largest in the country. It was also the last standing blast furnace in the Mahoning Valley. The steel mill was founded in 1912 by Trumbull Steel and was once called Trumbull Cliffs. Since then ownership has changed hands many times. In 1929 Republic Steel & Iron took over operations. Then during a J&L Steel (Jones & Laughlin) takeover in 1984, LTV Steel was born. LTV Steel gave way to WCI Steel. The Renco Group bought WCI in 2002 and in 2008 Severstal SA of Russia took over. From this RG Steel formed in 2012. The mill last operated as RG Steel when in 2012 it declared bankruptcy and 1200 steel workers lost their jobs.
This relic is the last remaining piece of the historic Warren, Ohio steelmaking era. It's current demolition will mark the end of steelmaking in the Mahoning Valley.
I was fortunate enough to gain legal access to the site one cold day in March 2017 as demolition equipment was being staged. In October 2017 this beautiful piece of American industrial history is almost gone.

Nelson is a census-designated place in Clark County, Nevada, United States. The community is in the Pacific Standard Time zone. The location of Nelson is in El Dorado Canyon, Eldorado Mountains. The town is in the southeast region of the Eldorado Valley. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 37. Nelson is located along Nevada State Route 165, about 8 miles (13 km) southeast of its junction with U.S. Route 95. Route 165 continues east 5 miles (8 km) to a dead end at Nelsons Landing on the Colorado River, 18 miles (29 km) by water north of Cottonwood Cove on Lake Mojave. Nelson is about 25 miles (40 km) from Boulder City by road. The area known as Nelson was originally called Eldorado in 1775, by the Spaniards who made the original discoveries of gold in the area that is now Eldorado Canyon. The town was the site of one of the first major gold strikes in Nevada and one of the biggest mining booms in state history. Gold and silver were discovered here around 1859. The rush to the canyon began in 1861, several mining camps were established in the canyon, and a steamboat landing at the mouth of the canyon on the Colorado River, called Colorado City. In its heyday, the area established a reputation for being rough and lawless. During the American Civil War, deserters from both the Union and Confederate armies would wander there, hoping that such an isolated location would be the last place military authorities would look for them. Among the early mines established was the notorious Techatticup Mine in the middle of the canyon. Disagreements over ownership, management and labor disputes resulted in wanton killings so frequent as to be routine and ordinary. Despite the sinister reputation of the mine, it along with others in the town produced several million dollars in gold, silver, copper and lead. The mines in the canyon were active from about 1858 until 1945. The community called Nelson was named for Charles Nelson, a camp leader who was slain in his home, along with four other people, in 1897 by the renegade Indian, Avote. Between, 1901 and 1905 the San Pedro, Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad was built across southern Nevada, through Las Vegas, to Daggett, California where it connected to the AT&SF, and the complete Salt Lake–Los Angeles line was opened on May 1, 1905. This nearby railhead ended the need for steamboats at Eldorado Canyon, the landing and the mill there were abandoned. The town of Nelson was born near the head of the canyon nearest the road to the railroad, the post office of Eldorado was closed on August 31, 1907 and moved to Nelson. The mines and the landing are accessible through the town of Nelson off US 95 about 25 miles southwest of Las Vegas. Much of Nelson, which was not impacted by the 1974 flood, remains today and is located near the top of the wash, away from the flood channels. The sparsely populated community consists mainly of privately owned ranch houses, and a river and mining tour business housed in a former Texaco gas station, north of the road from the Techatticup Mine, that has been used as a filming location for several feature films, including 3000 Miles to Graceland. The fate of Nelson's Landing is a warning to visitors to this region who should watch for conditions leading to flash flooding. They should also be cautious of open mines and ventilation shafts.

El Dorado Canyon is a canyon in southern Clark County, Nevada famed for its rich silver and gold mines. The canyon was named in 1857 by steamboat entrepreneur Captain George Alonzo Johnson when gold and silver was discovered here. It drains into the Colorado River at the former site of Nelson's Landing. The town of Nelson lies in the upper reach of the canyon. Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours operates mid way in the canyon at the Techatticup Mine one of the oldest and most productive mines in the canyon. Prospecting and mining in the El Dorado Canyon had been going on from at least 1857 if not earlier. But in April 1861, as the American Civil War began, word got out that silver and some gold and copper lodes had been discovered by John Moss and others in what became known as El Dorado Canyon, in New Mexico Territory, now Nevada. The canyon was on the west side of the river sixty five miles above Fort Mohave at what was then considered the limit of navigation of the river. George A. Johnson came up river and made a deal to supply the mines with his steamboats at a lower price than that provided overland across the Mohave Desert from Los Angeles. That fall news of the strikes in the Colorado Mining District, (by 1864 also called the Eldorado Canyon District), brought a flood of miners to the canyon. Several mining camps were founded in the canyon over the years. At the beginning San Juan, or Upper Camp were at the top of the canyon miles from the river near the modern town of Nelson. Midway down the canyon near the Techatticup Mine were Alturas and Louisville. At the mouth of the canyon was the boat landing of Colorado City. During the time of the American Civil War, three new mining camps developed in the middle canyon. In 1862, Lucky Jim Camp was formed along Eldorado Canyon above January Wash, south of the Techatticup Mine. Lucky Jim Camp was the home of miners sympathetic to the Confederate cause. A mile up the canyon was a camp with Union sympathies called Buster Falls. In late 1863, Col. John R. Vineyard, at the time a California State Senator for Los Angeles, completed a ten stamp mill the first in the canyon, on its north side just below Lucky Jim Camp, at what soon became El Dorado City. Vineyard's mill, assembled from mill parts salvaged from abandoned works in the Mother Lode country of California, processed the ore of its mines and cut out the cost of shipping the ore out to San Francisco for such processing, cutting costs in half. George Alonzo Johnson's steamboat company losing this downstream ore trade and making fewer trips up to the Canyon responded by raising its freight rates. From 1865 to 1867 as part of Mohave County, Arizona Territory, El Dorado Canyon had its own post office. In 1867, to secure the riverboat traffic and protect miners in the canyon from Paiute attacks the U.S. Army established Camp El Dorado, an outpost at the mouth of El Dorado Canyon that remained until it was abandoned in 1869. From 1870 the mines again were active to the point where from 1879 to 1907 El Dorado Canyon again had a post office, now in Clark County, Nevada. The mines continued to produce ore until World War II.
I have spotted a couple of Renault 18 estates over the years, but never a saloon, so this was great to see. Has no online MOT history, so has been off the road since at least 2006, but it has clearly been kept in good condition and could easy be mistaken for a roadworthy car. The fact it is now, tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt is surely an incentive to get it back on the road again?!

Mormon Row Historic District - Mormon Row is a line of homestead complexes along the Jackson-Moran Road near the southeast corner of Grand Teton National Park, in the valley called Jackson Hole. The rural historic landscape's period of significance includes the construction of the Andy Chambers, T.A. Moulton and John Moulton farms from 1908 to the 1950s. Six building clusters and a separate ruin illustrate Mormon settlement in the area and comprise such features as drainage systems, barns, fields and corrals. Apart from John and T.A. Moulton, other settlers in the area were Joseph Eggleston, Albert Gunther, Henry May, Thomas Murphy and George Riniker. The area is also known as Antelope Flats, situated between the towns of Moose and Kelly. It is a popular destination for tourists and photographers on account of the historic buildings, the herds of bison, and the spectacular Teton Range rising in the background. The alluvial soil to the east of Blacktail Butte was more suitable than most locations in Jackson Hole for farming, somewhat hampered by a lack of readily available water. The Mormon homesteaders began to arrive in the 1890s from Idaho, creating a community called "Gros Ventre", with a total of 27 homesteads. The Mormon settlers tended to create clustered communities, in contrast to the isolated homesteads more typical of Jackson Hole. Grand Teton National Park is a United States National Park in northwestern Wyoming. At approximately 310,000 acres (480 sq mi; 130,000 ha; 1,300 km2), the park includes the major peaks of the 40-mile-long (64 km) Teton Range as well as most of the northern sections of the valley known as Jackson Hole. It is only 10 miles (16 km) south of Yellowstone National Park, to which it is connected by the National Park Service-managed John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. Along with surrounding National Forests, these three protected areas constitute the almost 18,000,000-acre (7,300,000 ha) Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, one of the largest intact mid-latitude temperate ecosystems in the world. Human history of the Grand Teton region dates back at least 11,000 years, when the first nomadic hunter-gatherer Paleo-Indians began migrating into the region during warmer months pursuing food and supplies. In the early 19th century, the first White explorers encountered the eastern Shoshone natives. Between 1810 and 1840, the region attracted fur trading companies that vied for control of the lucrative beaver pelt trade. U.S. Government expeditions to the region commenced in the mid-19th century as an offshoot of exploration in Yellowstone, with the first permanent white settlers in Jackson Hole arriving in the 1880s. Efforts to preserve the region as a national park commenced in the late 19th century, and in 1929 Grand Teton National Park was established, protecting the major peaks of the Teton Range. The valley of Jackson Hole remained in private ownership until the 1930s, when conservationists led by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. began purchasing land in Jackson Hole to be added to the existing national park. Against public opinion and with repeated Congressional efforts to repeal the measures, much of Jackson Hole was set aside for protection as Jackson Hole National Monument in 1943. The monument was abolished in 1950 and most of the monument land was added to Grand Teton National Park. Grand Teton National Park is named for Grand Teton, the tallest mountain in the Teton Range. The naming of the mountains is attributed to early 19th-century French-speaking trappers—les trois tétons (the three teats) was later anglicized and shortened to Tetons. At 13,775 feet (4,199 m), Grand Teton abruptly rises more than 7,000 feet (2,100 m) above Jackson Hole, almost 850 feet (260 m) higher than Mount Owen, the second-highest summit in the range. The park has numerous lakes, including 15-mile-long (24 km) Jackson Lake as well as streams of varying length and the upper main stem of the Snake River. Though in a state of recession, a dozen small glaciers persist at the higher elevations near the highest peaks in the range. Some of the rocks in the park are the oldest found in any U.S. National Park and have been dated at nearly 2.7 billion years. Grand Teton National Park is an almost pristine ecosystem and the same species of flora and fauna that have existed since prehistoric times can still be found there. More than 1,000 species of vascular plants, dozens of species of mammals, 300 species of birds, more than a dozen fish species and a few species of reptiles and amphibians exist. Due to various changes in the ecosystem, some of them human-induced, efforts have been made to provide enhanced protection to some species of native fish and the increasingly threatened whitebark pine. Grand Teton National Park is a popular destination for mountaineering, hiking, fishing and other forms of recreation. There are more than 1,000 drive-in campsites and over 200 miles (320 km) of hiking trails that provide access to backcountry camping areas. Noted for world-renowned trout fishing, the park is one of the few places to catch Snake River fine-spotted cutthroat trout. Grand Teton has several National Park Service-run visitor centers, and privately operated concessions for motels, lodges, gas stations and marinas.

The farmer who bought this elevator from the Pool set up a small display consisting of this old Case tractor and a small trailer. Hidden behind the tractor was a grain truck waiting to haul crop out of storage. Its always nice to see these elevators kept in operation through private ownership.

# 1 Alfa Romeo Targa Florio TF11 1924 - Göttsche Bebert (ITA)
Dieser sagenhafte Alfa Romeo "Targa Florio" TF11 wurde 1924 speziell für die Mille Miglia gebaut, bei der er als Dritter ins Ziel kam. Bei diesem Auto von Michael Göttsche Bebert handelt es sich um den einzig überlebenden 3,6 Liter-Sechszylinder mit 100 PS Leistung. Insgesamt wurden nur 5 Exemplare hergestellt - drei mit 3,6 Liter- und drei mit 3 Liter-Motoren. Es befindet sich im Originalzustand von 1924. Geschätzter Wert ca. 2 Mio. EUR (2011).

2025 and under I-Squared ownership, Arriva Midlands got all their remaining older livery vehicles at Shrewsbury depot into the latest livery. Quite surprisingly, the last three Optare Solo SRs were so treated, considering under the old order, repaints were lacking, the majority of Solo SRs were been parked up and scrapped, with older Solos drafted in to replace them in some cases.
It would be assumed money was spent on the last three, and in fairness they do look smart. 2517 shines well on the early morning July sunshine, having just passed through Gobowen, as it operates the Saturday - 53 Ellesmere to Oswestry, a 'stand alone' day duty, i.e. not interworking with the X5 service as per Monday to Friday.
This particular bus when new, was loaned / hired out to assist with the Arriva Malta operation and operated as 'BUS 304', before returning to the UK and been allocated to Derby depot as intended, where the fleet there had a mass replacement in 2008/9.
I've been a little scarce on Flickr as we're gutting the ceiling in the garage and putting in a new insulated one... :)

From here on out, Mass Coastal will assume all operations of the Bay Colony Railroad, both the Watuppa Branch and the Millis Branch.
Stowe Gardens is a National Trust property located in Buckinghamshire, England. It is a Georgian landscape garden and park that is open 365 days a year. The majority of the gardens, along with part of the park, passed into the ownership of the National Trust in 1989.

While waiting for a restaurant booking I decided to take a walk around the local area, looking for intersting cars. This was the best find from the walk. It has been spotted by a number of people before on Flickr before, including myself a few years ago. In the 2 weeks from spotting it to uploading it, it has been scrapped. You'd think the owner would be aware of its rarity. When I spotted it, it looked as if it hadn't moved for a while, which is strange for a builders car like this. I must have just caught it before it was taken for scrap, possibly even the next day... A bit of a shame as this was one of those real survivors that could only be found in London.

Ryrie’s is a little changed Edwardian public house which occupies a very prominent position at the junction of Haymarket, Dalry Road and Morrison Street in Edinburgh. It has Baronial details and a Scottish Renaissance style teak wooden pub frontage. The interior has attractive leaded and stained glass with lettering and a finely detailed carved gantry behind the bar.
Kirkwood's map of 1817 shows the earlier building on this site as the Haymarket Weigh House. In 1830 David Lawrie occupied this building as an Innkeeper. A few years later Henry Cochrane is listed as a Spirit Dealer at the same address. In 1842 the Edinburgh Glasgow Railway is completed and terminated behind the building. It is shown on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map as 'The Railway Inn' and occupied the whole of the current site.
The Haymarket Inn was built slightly West of the corner in 1862. The building now occupied by Ryrie’s would appear to have been rebuilt and baronialised in 1868 (the cast-iron hoppers bear this date) and some alterations were made to The Haymarket Inn at this date as well. By 1906 the two parts were linked as private and public bars of one property under the name The Haymarket Inn and the ground floor and interior rebuilt. The client for the 1906 work was Messrs Ryrie & Company, whisky merchants.
The architect for the 1906 refit, Robert McFarlane Cameron, was responsible for a number of fine pub interiors in Edinburgh, including The Guildford Arms, also part of the D M Stewart Ltd group. His practice was medium sized and very varied and ranged from churches and schools at one end to public houses and premises for the licensed trade at the other. He served as a bailie and magistrate of the city and was considered to be 'a firm friend of the Trade' and as such secured a number of commissions for re-fitting pubs. These became examples of what is now known as People’s Palaces.
George Morrison, a director of the nearby New Edinburgh Brewery at Slateford, owned by Thomas & James Bernard Ltd, became tenant in 1906. His widow acquired the heritable interest in the property and then her executry sold the public house to the Brewery. In turn, Scottish Brewers Ltd acquired Thomas & James Bernard Ltd in 1960. In the 1980s the large Ryrie’s and W M Younger’s Ales signs were placed on the gable ends of the property.
Further minor interior alterations in 1992 improved access around the bar, but left the majority of the original bar unchanged. Ownership of the property passed between large national Pubcos before being purchased by the Edinburgh family run pub company D M Stewart Ltd, which owns and operates some of the cities finest Victorian and Edwardian pubs.
Jordan Pond is located in Acadia National Park near the town of Bar Harbor, Maine. It covers 187 acres with a maximum depth of 150 feet and a shoreline of 3.6 miles.The pond has clear water, with visibility normally 46 feet and occasions of up to 60 feet recorded, the deepest in Maine.

PRIVATE OWNERSHIP
Around 1907 the fort was bought by the Windsor Richards family who converted it into a house. This included installing parquet flooring in the casemates and lavish decorative features. They also built a 2 bedroom summerhouse at the front of the island. When the house was compulsory purchased in 1940 the internal fittings were auctioned by Harrods and the catalogue still exists.
After WWII the fort was then acquired by a local solicitor who rented the property, and the travel writer Norman Lewis is recorded as staying there in 1947- 1948. The fort was sold to a Tenby businessman in 1962 and in March 1968 the fort was turned into a zoo. the zoo and had two operators before relocating in 1979. The fort has effectively stood empty since this time.

Commentary.
Between Tomintoul and Ballater is the 16th. Century (1530)
turreted house and Barracks of Corgarff Castle.
Peaceful and isolated, as it may appear, it has seen more than its fair share of dispute, fighting, destruction and affray.
Clan clashes for ownership and control have seen it burned and ransacked several times.
The building has also been used strategically by the English Army to quell the Jacobite Uprising of the early 18th. Century.
Corgarff has even been used by Local Authorities as a base to
curb the illicit whisky production, in the area, at times.
People now visit this region to view the Royal Estates,
fish, walk, climb and ski.
Historical Environment Scotland now maintain the site
and it is open to the Public.
It has also been designated as a “Scheduled Ancient Monument.”
In ownership since 1998. Looking at the vegetation around it, it hasn't driven in a while. Not much seems to have changed since 2017 (see comments). It hasn't been on the road since 2016. (at least legally, since it hasn't had its inspection since then)

Took the Medalist II out for a spin with color film after fixing the rangefinder. Rangefinder works like a charm. Shot on Lomography Metropolis (hence the way subdued color palette) and developed in ECN-2. I think I need to use a different film to see what this “Lumenized” lens is capable of with color.

Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park... (public park in Kentron administrative district of Yerevan), also known as the Vardanyans' park, was opened on 10 May 2019. The park is a gift from philanthropists Mikayel and Karen Vardanyan on the 2800th anniversary of the foundation of Yerevan city.

It could be argued that this isn`t at a bus garage as such. It`s the former Acton Tram Depot which survived in LT ownership as a storage site and was a convenient terminus for Route 7 where RM 519 in `wedding livery` and RM 810 are on 7 August 1981. Who knew that this building would become a bus garage years later.........?
The start of the GM revolution - EWS 66049 would have been around a year old when captured on the York avoiding line hauling a southbound rake of HAA coal hoppers. The previous generation of traction can be seen heading North in the form of Railfreight Freightliner 47370 Andrew A Hodgkinson.
66049 was one of a batch of Class 66s transferred to Euro Cargo Rail for use in Europe during EWS ownership, while 47370 was withdrawn in January 2003 but was stored in Ipswich due to a major failure, and finally hauled to Felixstowe in May 2009 before being taken by road to Stockton for scrapping.
Chicago Central Geeps on a coal train at Wallace yard in Freeport, IL pass the old Swan Organ factory. Back in the glory days of the factory, they would ship 30 reed organs a day from this location. The railroad, the locomotives and the building are gone. The yard is a shell of itself under Canadian National ownership.

Strangely ownership details don't come up for this. But definitely a long term owner.
A rough example, I love the 2 tone blue paintwork on it. It's done 161k miles and still does around 3-4k a year.

My dad gave me this hand-me-down tool about 30 years ago, give or take a few. They still serve me well. I am pretty sure it was the 1970s when he got an engraving tool and went to town on just about everything he owned at the time.
Delivered to the British Army in April 1970, entering service in October 1971 in Northern Ireland with the REME LAD [Light Aid Detachment] when attached to the 16th/5th The Queen's Royal Lancers and later the Queen's Own Hussars.
After 17 years' service the vehicle was sold in June 1987 at an army surplus auction and entered private ownership.

The Dixie Walesbilt Hotel, known as the Grand Hotel in later years, is one of a small number of skyscrapers built in the 1920s that still stand today and is a prime example of how optimistic people were during the Florida land boom. Built in 1926, it found financing through a stock-sale campaign in the local business community, costing $500,000 after it was completed(which equates to about $6 million today.)
The building architecture, masonry vernacular with hints of Mediterranean-Revival, is also a good example of the time is was built. It was designed by two well-known architects at the time, Fred Bishop who designed the Byrd Theatre in Virginia, and D.J. Phipps, whose designed both the Wyoming County Courthouse and Jail and the Colonial Hotel in Virginia.
The hotel was constructed using the “three-part vertical block” method, which became the dominant pattern in tall buildings during the 1920s. Three-part buildings are composed of a base, shaft and a cap, all noticeably visible.
The hotel opened as the “Walesbilt” in January 1927, shortly after the land boom had started to collapse and two years before the Great Depression began. It’s also best to note that the hotel opened around the same time the Floridan Hotel in Tampa opened, another hotel built during the Florida land boom.
In 1972, the hotel was purchased by Anderson Sun State and renamed the “Groveland Motor Inn”. The firm completely renovated the hotel and used it to host visitors to the area who were interested in Green Swamp, land sectioned off for land development. At the time there was heavy speculation in the land because of it’s close proximity to Walt Disney World and were selling for around $5,000 an acre at the time. That ended after a state cabinet designation of the swamp as an area of critical state concern, placing the land off-limits to any large land developments. The firm filed for foreclosure and the hotel was auctioned off in 1974. Despite RCI Electric purchasing the hotel, it remained empty for many years afterwards.
n 1978, the hotel was signed over to the Agape Players, a nationally known religious music and drama group, who would assume the mortgage and would pay the costs to make improvements to meet city fire and safety standards. The hotel was renamed the “Royal Walesbilt” and after extensive improvements were made, it became the headquarters for the Agape Players; using it as a teaching facility and the base from which the group launched their tours. In addition, they operated a restaurant, an ice cream parlor on the lobby floor and a “Christian hotel” on the upper floors, catering mostly to groups. The Agape Players disbanded in 1985 and put the property up for sale
Victor Khubani, a property investor from New York acquired the property and renamed the hotel “Grand”. The hotel closed briefly in December 1988, due to a variety of code violations and causing the owner to later pay $14,000 in fines. On August 31, 1990 it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, possibly for tax exemption reasons. In October 1991, The State Fire Marshall’s Office gave the owner one year to install a new sprinkler system and in May 1993, the code enforcement board gave Khubani until March to complete the work.
In March 1994, the hotel closed due to multiple code violations and was to remain closed until a new fire sprinkler system was installed. To reopen, the fire escapes and elevator, which did not function, would have to be repaired as well. In 1995, the hotel was auctioned off to a redevelopment firm, which dismantled part of the interior for reconstruction, which was never completed.
Since then, the hotel has deteriorated, becoming an eyesore to many of the residents of Lake Wales and nicknamed “The Green Monster” for the greenish color it has acquired from over the years. In 1995, it was even jokingly mentioned to become a sacrifice to “the bomb”, an economic boom that occurred in parts of Florida where movie production companies would pay cities to blow up buildings for their movies. In 2007, the city foreclosed on the structure for more than $700,000 in unpaid code fines, with hopes in finding someone to restore it.
Development firm, Dixie-Walesbilt LLC announced plans to restore the hotel, signing into an agreement with the city of Lake Wales in February 2010. By the agreement, the city would retain ownership of the building until a defined amount of work had been accomplished. The work must be completed within 16 months and the amount of money invested must succeed at least $1.5 million. The building would then be handed off the Dixie Walesbilt LLC, where they may continue with private funding or other methods to for debt funding.
Ray Brown, President of Dixie Walesbilt LLC, planned to invest $6 million into the renovation, with original plans to put retail stores on the ground floor and using the upper floors for as many as 40 condominiums.
On June 2, 2011, the city of Lake Wales agreed to deed the building off to Ray Brown in a 4-1 vote, after meeting the requirements of the redevelopment agreement. Though Brown submitted a list of costs to the city totaling $1.66 million, Mayor Mike Carter wasn’t satisfied with the results so far, pointing out that Brown failed to repair the windows and repaint the building. Previous owners had put tar on the building and then painted over it, so much of Brown’s investment went to stripping the tar off the exterior walls.
To repaint the building, Brown would also have to resurface the hotel with hydrated lime to replicate the original skin as well as the window frames would need to be constructed of Douglas fir, red cedar and gulf cypress. According to Brown, previous owners who renovated the building rarely removed the building original elements. They carpeted over intricate tile flooring, stuck tar paper above skylights and placed modern drinking fountains in front of the originals. He estimated about 98 percent of the building is still in it’s original form.
Restoration of the building’s exterior began in January 2015 and included surface repair, pressure washing, paint removal, chemical treatment, and a comprehensive resurfacing of the exterior.
While the original plans were for turning the building into condominiums, that has since changed and current plans call for operating the building as a boutique hotel. The hotel will feature geothermal cooling as opposed to traditional air conditioning, a permanent art gallery as well as theme gallery showings throughout the year, and the best WiFi/internet in the city. The project is expected to be completed in 18 to 24 months.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing - a 2015 Lada Niva! They import a small amount of Lada Nivas into the UK. Only a few people have bought them. They seem like good value for money, but they are Left hand drive. This is a 'stretched' Long Wheelbase model...
