Two Roseate Spoonbills flying over the Riverstone Wetlands on a dreary afternoon, Sugar Land, Texas.
i saw this spectacular cloud formation, appearing to be over Gros Morne Mountain as seen from a grassy meadow above Rocky Harbour, NL (July 21, 2020).
I've enjoyed Gros Morne National Park since it opened in the early 1970's and have in my younger days climbed this 807 m. mountain, the second highest on the island of Newfoundland.
Stadthalle Bremen (ÖVB Arena)
Architekt: Roland Rainer

I haven't seen many of these large birds flying here on the East Coast but managed to catch a shot of this one as he flew over Lake St. Louis in Pointe-Claire, QC.
Seen on the site of the former Hull Brewery, This site is now converted to Offices etc and is located in The City Centre.
Shellcamp Lake Visit 01/14/2024
Canon 60D with Canon 18-135mm IS STM
I purchased this setup gently used for a great price and I find that it's become a go to "generic" kit for circumstances where I don't really have any agenda other than to shoot what I see.
I keep going back to Shellcamp Lake for the wildlife opportunities, but the landscapes can be quite nice.
I got out later than planned, but the timing worked out pretty well both in terms of landscape shots as well as some wildlife opportunities.
This shot is of the frozen lake with some lovely clouds overhead. The light was starting to get a bit harsh, but still manageable.
I like the mild reflections in the ice.
Hope you enjoy!
NC
After sitting in the hole at Tacheeda for a local and a coal train from the Tumbler, 473 meets their final train of the day that being the counterpart manifest train 472. This was the location where CN swapped diesels for the BCRail electrics for the journey to Tumbler Ridge, hence the overhead catenary. I calculated how long 472 would take to get to the siding on the way here, I was 2 minutes off.
