24.07.2023 The day started cloudy with rain during the morning but gradually improved during the afternoon ending with this Sunset at 20.59hrs The cloud overhead looked threatening but produced only a light shower as it passed over me at the same time this shot was taken.

We were lucky enough to make a bonus stop on Alisa Craig - - it is a 99 hectare island in the outer Firth of Clyde. (16 Km west of mainland Scotland )

It has a quarry where all microgranite has been quarried for the manufacturing of curling stones.

It also had a healthy cliff of nesting Northern Gannets which are seen here flying overhead as we pass through.

Standing underneath the Chicago "L" (short for "elevated") Rapid Transit System serving the city of Chicago. Illinois, USA.

The first "L", the Chicago and South Side Rapid Transit Railroad, began revenue service on June 6, 1892, when a steam locomotive pulling four wooden coaches, carrying more than a couple of dozen people, departed the 39th Street station and arrived at the Congress Street Terminal 14 minutes later, over tracks that are still in use by the Green Line.

She jokingly called him a fog whisper.

Two 60 tonne overhead cranes, built 1942, in the MotorWorld München - these cranes date back to the time when the building was part of the Ausbesserungswerk München-Freimann.

The building - including these two cranes - is a listed structure.
