This is probably John Nash’s best known painting, ‘Over the Top: 1st Artists’ Rifles at Marcoing, 1918’ a scene that he described many years later as ‘pure bloody murder’. He led his section that morning as a corporal, and the figures are not just anonymous soldiers but his friends and comrades, being gunned down. This painting, along with many others produced in Nash’s’ time as an official war artist (in both World Wars) is normally at the Imperial War Museum.

The Tricolored or Louisiana Heron does not swim but wades in deep water. Audubon called this bird "Lady of the Water" because of its grace and beauty. It resembles the Great Blue Heron but is much smaller and more delicate. Its white belly clearly distinguishes it from all other Herons. It strides briskly through the water, sometimes running after fish and catching them with a thrust of the bill. This action is so fast that it can only be caught with a shutter speed of 1/4000th of a second! Their chicks have a reddish coat but turn blue with age. The name Louisiana Heron is very misleading because
it also lives in coastal states from North Carolina to Texas, and especially in Florida. - A Very Elegant Bird - Fun to Observe
The first place you see when coming onboard the Carnival Pride. A bit over the top in decor, but after a couple days, you don’t notice it as much.

Welcome to my universe. You're allowed in as long as you're not a douchebag or display character traits I deem as flaws. There's a cover charge to keep out the riff-raff. It's not quite finished yet ... I'm working on it.
This is as cliche as it gets of course, but as you can see, I'm God. I can do whatever I like.

Making planets, even for God, is tricky stuff. I used this tutorial. Just for a few pointers. I may be a god but I'm not perfect.
I liked the hallway, so I shot it (with my camera).
I liked the graffiti, so I enhanced it (in Photoshop).
I like clown vomit, so I made some (with the saturation on contrast sliders).
So, yeah. I give you: CLOWN VOMIT!
I like it garish like this. It appeals to the vulgar side of me.
My most insincere apologies if, by looking at this, you contacts melt to your eyeballs.
I saw the Christmas lights still on before I saw the rest, decorations and ornaments in every nook and cranny. Personally I couldn't live with it, but everyone to their own.
It's also not the worst I saw this morning either, someone has turned their conservatory - sun room into what looks like Santa's grotto. Sadly I would be seen if I tried to take a photo.
If you zoom in you can take a better look at what there is!!
Thank you for your favourites. :O)

.
The Fonte Gaia is a monumental fountain located in the Piazza del Campo in the center of Siena, Italy.
The first fountain in the Piazza del Campo was completed in 1346, after hydraulic construction had led water to the site. Underground pipes brought water to the site from 25 kilometers away. Legend holds that the fountain was met with much joy, thus it was given the name Gaia or joyous.
