Das Meerauge ( Morskie Oko) in Polen ist der größte und mit einer maximalen Tiefe von 50,8 m der vierttiefste (Berg-)see der Hohen Tatra. Der See liegt auf einer Höhe von 1395 m über Meeresspiegel und hat eine Fläche von 34,9 ha.

The Sea eye (Morskie Oko) in Poland is the largest and with a maximum depth of 50.8 m is the fourth lowest (mountain) see the High Tatras. The lake lies at an altitude of 1395 m above sea level and has an area of 34.9 ha.

as each autumn, the fraxinus pennsylvanica in Park na Zdrowiu, present themselves in their best outfit :-)

Mt. Robson (3,954 m = 12,972 ft), is also known as "Cloud Cap Mountain" and by climbers as the "Great White Fright."

With 2,975 m (9,760 ft) elevation gain from the valley floor below it is a difficult challenge for those brave enough to climb it.

Fünf Minuten nach dem letzten Foto habe ich diese Aufnahme gemacht. Man kann auf der rechten Seite in Toledo die goldene Stunde sehen und auf der linken die Stunde des Nebels in den Bergen. Man muss einmal in seinem Leben Toledo besuchen. Die Reise lohnt sich!

My brother is coming to visit next week, He lives near Yosemite and this is one of many photos from a trip to visit him in 2014 and our little day trip to Yosemite National Park. I sure wish it was not on the opposite side of the continent!

Loch Brandy is a classic mountain corrie above Glen Clova on the southside of the Cairngorms National Park. I wanted to get the sun on the corrie side so I had to set off up the hills at 6 this morning to get there im time for the sunrise.

The diamond of Serifos is its capital, Chora, which is considered to be a model of a medieval castled settlement, built amphitheatrically on the rocky height of the bay of Livadi , in order to protect it from the pirate invasions.

There is hardly a better place in my area to enjoy a perfect Autumn day than the open-air -museum in Detmold. We spent a whole day in beautiful sunshine without a cloud in this lovely location.

The LWL-Freilichtmuseum in Detmold is a great place to learn and experience the world of our ancestors. The open-air-museum is covered with buildings, tools, animals and plants of countryside life in Northwest Germany in the last couple of centuries. An endless source of inspiration for HDR photography.

It is the dam in the sky located at an altitude of 2450m.

Was having dinner at East Coast Seafood Centre. The row of restaurants is just on the right, outside of this picture. The restaurants have a direct view to the seas and a very pleasant place for dinning. I stood on the break waters for this sunset shot.

It is an odd winter. The piles of snow we had ten days ago have disappeared under above zero temperatures and rain. This trend is uncommon in January in Ontario! The snow you see in this photo is now all gone!

This was my first time to set my alarm clock to 4:50 AM on a sunday morning. I really wanted to take a picutre of this beautiful place on sunrise. As it turned out, I wasn't the only one with this intention. About ten other photographers were already there :-)

Here I met Eric Jacob (ej foto) who is also an Olympus photographer! Thank you for the nice conversation and the exchange of knowledge. Hope to hear more from you soon.
