The catchphrase of the city of Broken Hill, in outback NSW. The train stopped there for 2 hours, late afternoon near dusk. We had a wander around the town.

When the sun goes down in the outback you get a rim of yellow sky on the horizon and then it goes purple, then the dark comes across the sky from the other side and you can see the Milky Way. Stunning!
