Coondambo, South Australia, sees Aurizon train 7PU1 carrying empty containers that had been used to carry processed mineral sands on the westbound journey from Broken Hill to Perth.
From the highway overpass here you can trace the line back almost all the way to the crossing loop at Kultanaby.

Nicely setup 4WD (for our American friends we do not call them trucks) for outback exploring, but to my eye, way to clean. I wonder, has it seen any red dirt?
Water in the outback brings life.
This image has been captured at Bowra near Cunnamulla in Queensland:s outback.
In this area near Cunnamulla the vegetation is sparse and the land is arid and not very productive.
Cunnamulla is around 787Km west from Queensland's capital Brisbane.

I was out this morning catching the sunrise before a storm front moved in behind me. Turned around to pack up and head home and caught this great little rainbow as a bonus.
