Ewaninga Reserve had a camping area that I assume was used for those locals heading out here to watch the Finke Desert race. They have dragged a bathtub out here, though I suspect it no longer serves its original purpose.

On this particular evening, I climbed up the top of Telstra hill to see the sun setting over the city of Mt.Isa. I took a few disapointing shots of the landscape and city and mine that just didn't seem interesting, so then I began searching for the detail and found this piece of grass. When I focussed on the grass in front, I realised that the blurring of the background had turned the sky into a water-colour painting.
Brilliant.
