Damn shadows! hehe :)
Actually, this turned out exactly the way I wanted except for the shadows, but there really was no other way to do it.
Yesterday i got the L.O.V.E. letters in the mail from Heshta as part of the Spread The L.O.V.E. group that we are in. I'll have them for about a week or so, and then they'll be moving on to Missouri, to Matthew James Jay.
Get ready for lots of L.O.V.E., 'cause guess what next week's theme will be...haha!

Finally have the suspect in custody. He confessed after playing the tape where his helpers ratted him out. I was trying to hold out and keep the secret but i blasted him with the tape and he song like a canary. Case solved. Now im out on this sail boat in the middle of Italy vacationing. Much needed "me time." I wanted to look chic and cool. Comfortable yet not overly dress. The weather is superb, the ocean scents just takes me to a whole new place of comfort. Im sooo relaxed right now. My tour guide decided to take me to a remote place where you see all kinds of ocean life and i am captivated. Thanks to The Slay Room, I manage to piece off my ensemble with these lovely Vienna Bracelets by Petroff. No idea what the ID was and no clue why this is the only image I have for this May 2013 train but here it is. With a YN2 EMD SD40-2 leading the train has passed CP Junta on its way I assume south to Atlanta. This could have been a yard job that surprised me then shoved back out of sight.
It poured buckets this evening, but I grabbe the camera, and the waterproof jacket and went for it.

In case you were wondering why i'm all alone: the Mad Hatter and the March Hare are on holiday, the White Rabbit was busy, his watch business really took off, you know. The Queen of Hearts was at a croquet match, and her team was winning.
The Cheshire Cat was there but he kept dissapearing.
I tried contacting Alice but she didn't write back. I think she's still on a voyage with the Mock Turtle. (anyone who wants Alice's address, do let me know)
And of course, Mssrs Dum and Dee are still in The Looking Glass.

On a damp and dull Saturday in November 2019 I found myself in Staines-upon-Thames and caught up with the White Bus of Winkfield team who have a strong presence in the north Surrey town. Their routes 438, 441, 446, 500, 566 and 567 all serve the bus station using ADL Enviros, both Classic and MMC. On the occasion of my visit the trio of Solos were also present.

Duga-3 (NATO reporting name Steel Yard) was a Soviet over-the-horizon radar system. It was developed for the Soviet ABM early-warning network. The system operated from 1976 to 1989. Its distinctive and mysterious shortwave radio signal came to be known in the west as the Russian Woodpecker.
Two stations of Duga-3 were installed: a western system around Chernobyl and an eastern system in Siberia.
The transmitter for the western Duga-3 was located a few kilometers southwest of Chernobyl (south of Minsk, northwest of Kiev). The receiver was located about 50 km northeast of Chernobyl (just west of Chernihiv, south of Gomel).
The Soviets had been working on early warning radar for their anti-ballistic missile systems through the 1960s, but most of these had been line-of-sight systems that were useful for raid analysis and interception only. None of these systems had the capability to provide early warning of a launch, which would give the defenses time to study the attack and plan a response. At the time the Soviet early-warning satellite network was not well developed, and there were questions about their ability to operate in a hostile environment including anti-satellite efforts. An over-the-horizon radar sited in the USSR would not have any of these problems, and work on such a system for this associated role started in the late 1960s. Duga-3 could detect submarines and missile launches in all of Europe and the Eastern coast of United States.
The first experimental system, Duga-1, was built outside Mykolaiv in Ukraine, successfully detecting rocket launches from Baikonur Cosmodrome at 2,500 kilometers. This was followed by the prototype Duga-2, built on the same site, which was able to track launches from the far east and submarines in the Pacific Ocean as the missiles flew towards Novaya Zemlya. Both of these radar systems were aimed east and were fairly low power, but with the concept proven work began on an operational system. The new Duga-3 systems used a transmitter and receiver separated by about 60 km.

strange paint on the bathroom wall visible under a black light. it couldn't get any worse.
Went out the other evening to shoot some hay bales in a local field I’d seen whilst on the way to work. There’s a path behind the field so no need to go into the field itself! Sun was setting out to the left from where I set up and light was looking promising but just as it was getting to where it would’ve been ideal a large cloud rolled across the sun and the horizon killing the light. Still it makes for a good mono composition thanks to the textures on the stubble left in the field afterwards. Telegraph poles were nicely placed to frame things.
Lange Duinen, Soest
My favourite tree on these dunes in the centre of The Netherlands.
"Natuurbehoud" (Nature conservation) does a lot to keep this blowing Sand land in shape. Nature tends to make a moor out of it, but by building the surrounding forest, artificial walls a.s.o. the landscape is preserved.
Another problem arises from the fact that the land moves, entering the nearby village Soest. The wood should also prevent this.
