Street candid taken in Glasgow, Scotland. This juxtaposition made me chuckle to myself - like he was waiting for a bus to Africa on Arglye Street in Glasgow!

It's still winter, so that means boots!! I know I can wear boots in the spring and summer, but that's when I want to wear pumps and sandals. 😉
So boots, tights and a dress it is.. and this time, the colour is grey. Quite different from black, ain't it? 😛
I hope these first 2 weeks of 2019 have been going well for you! ❤️

Keep Out....Until Game Time??
Back in the day this sign would of never worked as when I was young (1970s) we would be playing unsupervised baseball games all the time. We would climb over fences to get to a field if needed, didn't matter how many kids we had (8 to 18) didn't matter, we were playing.
Today.....where are all the kids. I never see a ball game that isn't either little league or travel ball, what a shame. The pickup games we used to play were the best!
And today is the Detroit Tigers first game of 2025......Go Tigers!
watching the hummers today; quite a site! Making the sugar water extra strong sure does make them hyper........lol............
The vaccine has arrived. I hope that this will be a changing point for the corona pandemic and that we soon can say goodbye to this disease and all its consequences.

This shot is from inside my Ford F-150 truck. I happened to notice this little guy hanging around so I grabbed my camera for a few shots. Of the shots I got this is the best one. Frequently some part of the spider is out of the focal plane etc and the shot isn't all that great. If anyone knows anything about this particular spider I would like to know what species this guy is.

I found these trees in mid leaf-out on the shoreline of the Painted Rocks Reservoir in the southern Bitterroot Valley, as are the various shrubs and bushes growing beneath them. Standing stately in the background are a variation of pines, including the pointy tamarack or larch pines, which turn a bright gold in the autumn, the only pines to do so.
Springtime was a few weeks late in arriving this year, but the old saying "better late than never" certainly applies in this case.

Tuesday evening I nipped out after tea and up onto Millstone Edge with the hope of getting a sunset, the walk up was lovely with bright sunshine and glorious light but by the time I’d found a composition that included some (now rare) flowering heather the light was starting to fade. Luckily I just had time to set up my tripod and get this one shot before the light went altogether. A minute after this and everything was dull and lifeless for the rest of the evening so I was really pleased to be able to come back with one shot in the bag.(Olympus EM-1 Mkii 7-14mm f/2.8 pro 1/80 f/6.3 @ 7mm Kase Wolverine GND-R 1.2 (4 stop) reverse grad)
These 2 are just like my last 2 dogs and were passing by while on look-out duties from the roof top of their hoomans canal boat. I thought they looked quite comical yet very content living the good life!
Shopping in girl mode is always fun, even if I do have to wear a mask. That sweater dress I am holding turned out to be fab and I will post a pic sometime of me in it.
