I'm not much into wigs to be honest. However...after trying Daisy's on yesterday, I told her she has two choices. Either give me hers....or buy me another just like it. Cause unless my eyes are playing tricks...this thing looks pretty damn good on me. 💗
Daisy on the other hand, absolutely HATES the look of this straight haired wig...but she had to admit it was better than doing without. 😜
With summer here and some tropical weather hitting some parts now, its so lovely to be able to get out in the evenings for a walk,I have stopped here in the glade to show you the evening sky and the colors of the bright flowers still waving their heads in the light breeze.. waves crash in the background and a owl is hooting in the distance..so peaceful..

Last week I headed up to Lassen after work in the north valley to check out some new waterfalls and explore Lassen some more. Big shout to Leon Turnbull for providing directions to places like this @ waterfallswest.com! This is one of the falls/cascades on the West Fork Hat Creek. There was still some significant snow on the trail and along all of the cascades to add some interest.
It was an interesting evening in Lassen...as I was hiking back to the car the earthquake in Greenville (not too far away) hit! I really want to spend some more time in Lassen...it is such an under-utilized park. The past few times I was up there, I felt as if I was the only human for 25+ miles. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
This is only the second time in my life that I've seen a moose...and wouldn't you know it was pouring rain so hard that it ruined my shot!!!!!!!!!! We took a drive into Idaho. When Sam saw it...he pulled over and I jumped out...found a nice solid log to set my camera on starting shooting pics! Little did I know that the pouring rain would ruin any attempts I made of getting a nice shot of this big guy!!!! :( lol...oh well..it was thrilling nonetheless!!! :) Think I got some nice landscapes images! Have a great evening everyone! :) Lochsa is a Nez Perce word meaning "+rough water." The Salish name is Ep Smɫí, "It Has Salmon".....That is the river shown above....Lochsa River.

The Great Movie Ride really isn't so great anymore. Not only is the ride starting to show it's age (ca't we upgrade the animatronics? Or add a few new segments?) but the new Turner Classic Movies tie in is akward at best.
Es dificil expresar que se siente cuando creas algo tan complejo, no te importa el cansancio, ni el sueño, ni el frio, solo piensas en que lo has conseguido, que la foto que has estado imaginando toda la semana, que creias que era imposible de hacer, donde cualquier pequeño fallo podria echar a perder todo el trabajo, que una vez in situ te surjen mil problemas que tienes que superar, por fin te ha salido y te has ganado un par de horas de sueño pensando en el gran trabajo de equipo que has realizado. Nunca me cansare de agradecer a mi equipo el apoyo y el esfuerzo que realizan para conseguir locuras como esta.
La idea era crear un cuadro dentro de una foto con un plus de dificultad añadido, aplicarle una tecnica de photoshop llamada out of bounds ( fuera de marco), haciendo ver que algunas chispas de la lana de acero salian del cuadro, pero sin necesidad de edicion. Muchas repeticiones nos han hecho falta para conseguir encajar la imagen dentro de los limites del marco, mas de 4 horas de trabajo entre pruebas, opciones y errores, pero si tienes una idea y sabes que tu tecnica te permite llevarla a cabo, todo es posible en el light painting. Este año vamos a participar en el II congreso internacional de light painting de Oviedo, con una ponencia y un taller donde explicaremos y enseñaremos hasta donde hemos llegado en nuestra investigacion sobre tapados en el light painting, no os lo podeis perder. Como siempre en una sola toma y sin edicion posterior.
