This unique "orthosis within an orthosis" two stage device, allows for the SureStep SMO to be utilized independent of the AFO, allowing children to work through a variety of transitional skills without impeding normal muscle function.

It is available in five different styles from the quintessential brown-on-black to the more modern green-on-white gator print. The Muirfield Village is the go-to footwear for the golf purist who loves the game and everything it stands for.
Allen Edmonds is very proud to introduce the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Collection. These shoes are nearly two years in the making and Mr. Nicklaus has been involved every step of the way. He told us from the start that we're not doing this unless we do it right. The Signature line features breathable, all leather uppers, removable insoles that allow men the option to insert their custom orthotics, a proprietary "Stability Rim" sole that offers superior features in swing balance, traction and greenfriendliness. Independently certified waterproof, the collection can be worn comfortably on and off the course. All of the Signature line styles come with multiple lace colors so you can stay tonal to the shoe color or dress it up with some coordinated color. They are available in a multitude of lengths and widths to accomodate hard-to-fit feet.
Nearly 200 kids and adults showed up to audition for the Variety Children's Theatre production of MARY POPPINS! We saw so much talent on display, it won't be easy to pick a final cast! Thanks to all who came out to the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts to showcase their talents.
In February 2015, University of Hartford graduate students in prosthetics and orthotics and physical therapy traveled to Lima, Peru, with a 17-person interdisciplinary care team. Organized by Dreaming and Working Together, the team provided free care to over 100 amputees in one week, replacing prostheses or providing brand-new prostheses to Peruvian residents. Students gained invaluable clinical training and an unforgettably rewarding cultural exchange.

You might remember that back in November I had a trip to the Royal to go and get my feet looked at.
This is the thrilling sequel. Apparently my dreadful arches will be helped by a spell with some insoles, and so I had my impressions taken today. Very strange.
This was at the Orthotics clinic at Broadgreen, which is a bit closer to work. Tragically, this meant that as I was out of my 1:50pm appointment by 2:30pm I could (and did) go back to work.
Broadgreen appears to have a new building, probably funded in some god awful PFI project, but it was a reasonably pleasant place to be. I parked in the multi storey (£2.20 trivia fans) and walked over to the main building. On the way I passed this sign.
The title of the pic doesn't mean that it's any kind of omen, or harbinger of doom, it's just that it's a terrible sign.
Clearly it's been added to in a piecemeal fashion over time, but someone really should take it down. This is supposed to be readable by passing motorists, and even at 5mph they haven't got a snowball's chance in hell.

Physical rehabilitation begins at one of our rehabilitation centres and continues in the community. Follow-up visits are made to see if a client's prosthetic limbs and braces are working properly and what further support is needed.

Thanks to the Cardinals Care Player Ticket Program, four of our Variety families got a very special visit to Busch Stadium last night!
Caleb, Dakota, Dominic, Nathan and their families began their day by checking out the St. Louis Cardinals' batting practice. Then our families went over to the home dugout and got a very special visit with Cards reliever Jason Motte! Finally, they got to catch the game with some complimentary tickets, along with vouchers for free food and drink. The Cards won in a ninth inning thriller!
We want to thank the Cardinals, as well as sponsor McAlister's Deli, for making this night possible for our families. And a huge shout out to Mr. Motte, who signed autographs, gave high fives and fielded many inquisitive questions from our kids. What a quality guy!
