Open Ceremony for Lunar New Year prior the parade. The stage was setup at Mott Street and Grand Street. Many VIP was invited and they gave greeting speech to the Chinese community. Senator Chuck Schumer and NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio were part of the VIP attendant. Recently, the Novel Coronavirus is spreading over in China. Many people in China are infected and died; especially in Wuhan. The politicians encourage China to fight the novel coronavirus by saying, “Stay Strong China, Stay Strong Wuhan”.
This year of Chinese Zodiac is Rat. The Rat is the first of all zodiac animals. According to one myth, the Jade Emperor said the order would be decided by the party. The Rat tricked the Ox into giving him a ride. Then, just as they arrived at the finish line, Rat jumped down and landed ahead of Ox, becoming first.

Lynn's harness had to be special ordered because she was so small! She was 39 pounds at recall, and 39 pounds at graduation. Her trainers think she is the smallest working guide dog (in all the world, I bet)!
