Started the spring semester off with a little radioactive decay kinetics. I like using chalkboards better than whiteboards. It's easier to brush chalk off my clothes, faces, and hands than to deal with that ink.
I'm excited about getting to know the new students. The schedule is a little insane: 20 students at 11:00, 40 students at 12:15, then 14 more at 1:30. No break for lunch, which I'm thinking may be just what I need. No more overeating in the all-you-can-eat school cafeteria. Another good thing is that all of my classes are one floor down from our secretary's candy jar, which has always been hard to resist. Who knows, maybe I'll shed a few pounds between now and May.
For this brief I had to create 2 posters from 2 quotes using typography as image.
This quote is about order and as such i chose to use isometric as it is a mathematical process and therefore sticks to certain rules.

The Out of Order Seder has become an irreverent tradition at the Museum: a mixture of high and low, sacred and profane. This year was emceed by Ari Kelman with musical guests and community leaders including Jewlia Eisenberg of Charming Hostess, Amy Tobin, Jhos Singer, and others.

I really liked the look of the rooster and had to reach over the fence to compose a decent shot. Once I reviewed the shot, I noticed the hen basically had all of its feathers plucked off of her back. From what I understand, it could be either from a) pecking order fights or b) from the rooster mating with her. Either way, kind of disturbing. Glad I didn't see it happening.
