I optimistically headed out to my newly blooming butterfly bush with Canon EOS 7d and my 100mm macro lens. The humidity and heat here in Memphis have been extremely high the last couple of days warranting health alerts to stay indoors. It didn't seem that hot out yet, but my lens immediately fogged up and after a few attempts at taking some butterfly shots I decided I didn't want to risk my DSLR equipment and came back in. Still wanting to grab a few shots I took out the Canon G11. It's tiny lens fogged up once but I wiped it off and it didn't fog again. Anyway, I'm sure I would have gotten a much better shot with the DSLR and Macro lens but I was fairly happy with this one.
