My series deals with the oppurtunities that a destructing collapse offers
for innovative and creative ideas. My intention is to show that an end is
simultaneously a new beginning and always succeeded by another sequence,
whereby occasionally destruction is an inevitable need for development.

Therefore I photographed the construction work of a renaturalising project
along the Maas in the north of Maastricht, where the course of the river is
being transformed to be more organic and natural.

The so called "Grensmaas Project" is a part of the "Natuurbeleidsplan" by
the dutch government that shall provide for 190.000 hectares of new nature
by 2018 in order to counteract the crisis of decreasing biodiversity and
vanishing nature in the Netherlands.

A cherished project of mine to capture and document the life by the gigantic river Brahmaputra that enters India in the north-eastern frontier state of Arunachal, travels through Assam and has its confluence with the ocean in Bengal.
I have been having discussions with quite a few eminent who have been born an brought up on the banks of this river. I have just started the project as I my work has started taking me to Dibrugarh University where I have become a catalyst to empower the youth of Assam. It is a blessing.
First of the dancers who have been kind to participate are two students, Sattriya dancers, from centre of performing arts at DU - Bhagyashree Senapati and Purasmita Bordoloi; Also I had an oppurtunity to capture.a bunch of youth who do their physical training on the banks of Brahmaputra, The fishermen's village that lives on Brahmaputra
the toyota F1 racing car at the new toyota showroom in muscat. i had the oppurtunity to sit in the car. it was an amazing experience. it was a dream come true.

This is the old faithful male American Black Duck which has been for years at Gerðar but has never been visible for me until today but he missed the oppurtunity to be my first Black Duck as I saw another an hour earlier today
On Sunday, i got the oppurtunity to photograph Underage Festival for RedBull Reporter. This is most certainly the biggest oppurtunity and event i have covered in my life. I photographed bands such as Hadouken, Don Broco, Ellie Goulding and Professor green.

Photographing for Red Bull was a really good experience, meeting other 'togs and free red bull.
adouken, my inner 15 year old was pretty excited seeing these for the first time and getting to photograph them, they tore the place apart, biggest dust cloud during their set. Looks like he should be in a metal band aha.
As AFC Wulfrunians were playing at Quorn i took the oppurtunity to make a day of it and spent some time in the morning at the Great Central railway's Quorn & Woodhouse station.It was more fun than the football and the natives were much friendlier
It was the first time in my life I had the oppurtunity to get several shots of such an interesting insect...and I spied him from my kitchen sink looking out towards the wild rose bushes--that in its self was hard to believe could happen....this is the first shot and my favorite one...the light was just right to see his legs---bet he could tap dance (or Irish clog ) up a storm !
Had an oppurtunity to shoot this little fellow after talking to a old man in a very poor community, he said that "they are all well trained".
He proved his point and opened the cage for me. Hahaha!

Some of you may know that our family plays alot of soccer. Here in Fuquay, they have rec which is what we have been playing for the past 3 years or so. This fall Madi is eligible for PDP (Player Development Program) or tryout see if you make the team soccer. We thought it would be a good growth oppurtunity. If she didn't make it, that was fine, we would just go back to rec. Damned if she didn't make it. We are very proud and it appears we have gotten a coach that has our same philosophy about soccer. Now we just have to crack open the check book a whole bunch. She better look good and do well or we are docking her allowance, just kidding. You go girl!!!!!!!!!!

Day 2 of our diving adventures began on dive site 777, followed by Tuna Alley. Our first oppurtunity to spear the invasive Lion Fish as well, there are many videos to go with this set of photos. An amazing day, started with a fantastic breakfast cooked on board.

Taken at the start of the womens tour 2014 in Oundle, Unfortunatley (or fortunatly dependant of your view point) I got stuck in a traffic jam due to the rolling road closures for 20min, so took the oppurtunity to grab the camera and get some shots as they passed by

Its a tough thing to say about India in a single frame, but i have tried to show some of the best things in India.
I have placed the picture of Mahathma Gandhi, the father of India.I take this oppurtunity as a tribute to our National father Gandiji.
I hav added the three major Religion symbols to show our unity.
The National emblem which symbolize our braveness.
Our National animal Tiger to show Indian's courage and the feathers of peakcock our national bird to show our politeness.
Culture of India is the biggest asset to all Indians, in that way i hav added our traditional dance Kathakali.
To show our Vast heritage i have placed alphabets from different languages.
