A cherished project of mine to capture and document the life by the gigantic river Brahmaputra that enters India in the north-eastern frontier state of Arunachal, travels through Assam and has its confluence with the ocean in Bengal.
I have been having discussions with quite a few eminent who have been born an brought up on the banks of this river. I have just started the project as I my work has started taking me to Dibrugarh University where I have become a catalyst to empower the youth of Assam. It is a blessing.
First of the dancers who have been kind to participate are two students, Sattriya dancers, from centre of performing arts at DU - Bhagyashree Senapati and Purasmita Bordoloi; Also I had an oppurtunity to capture.a bunch of youth who do their physical training on the banks of Brahmaputra, The fishermen's village that lives on Brahmaputra

The ruins of crisis as a breeding ground for progress

My series deals with the oppurtunities that a destructing collapse offers
for innovative and creative ideas. My intention is to show that an end is
simultaneously a new beginning and always succeeded by another sequence,
whereby occasionally destruction is an inevitable need for development.

Therefore I photographed the construction work of a renaturalising project

being transformed to be more organic and natural.

Don't know why but some of our neutered Ragdolls really hate squirrels and will chase them at any oppurtunity. Azlan here hoping they come close enough to catch

When he is playing Mississippi-inspired blues, he shines like his signature National guitar. If you have not yet seen Hall play live, don't miss this oppurtunity to catch one of St. Louis' most talented artists.

Today I had the oppurtunity to shoot a band while they where recording a demo in our studio. It was a fun shoot and I acyually felt that I learnt a lot. The light was evil, so I had to resort to B&W processing, but I really love how they came out. Still think there’s a lot I should’ve done and shot, but for a first time I’m quite pleased with the results. So was the band ;-)
Spent a week on Zakynthos relaxing, reading, drinking and eating
Didn't have much oppurtunity for light painting while I was away but the hotel pool was fairly creatively lit so I took a few shots around it one evening.
Fridays are universally user-friendly. Last Friday turned out to be more so when my co-workers decided to let me carry my camera along during our little afternoon walk around the lake. They preferred being interrupted by my pausing, pondering and shooting than hear me grumble about missing out on photogenic oppurtunities. It was a cloudy day and the soft light was beckoning wildly. So I took them on their offer and met many reasons to stall them and test their lovely patience. This piece stood out; few strategic stray clouds decided to thin out a bit and airbrush his face with few extra ounces of light.

A panoramic shot from the lookout near Brittania Beach, short hike down and across the railway and through an old campsite someone left up... Great place, I'm definitely enjoying the photographic oppurtunities of this beautiful area!!
Hey guys! I know I've been away a while and haven't posted anything new. But, My Dad had his surgery, and so far we are healing ok. Then, I went and really hurt myself. Not sure how. But, I did. I have a inflamed disc in my lower back and that makes it almost impossible to so anything but lie flat. Which sucks, cause I HATE to sit still for too long. I haven't had an oppurtunity to shoot anything and probably won't be able to until at least the weekend. :( So, send some good energy my way...I'm trying real hard not to be bummed.
I promise when I return I will have fun stuff to look at!!
Hope you are all well! I miss you guys!!

A beautiful place full of colour, fresh air and great photo oppurtunities!
I saw all these fine rides parked next to one of the many car dealerships located along Route 1 in Saco,ME. I personally think the "Cash For Clunkers" program was carried out very poorly but it has created a nice photo oppurtunity...

is that I loved being in North Carolina, although the reason for being there wasn't a good one.
I got the oppurtunity to meet a lot of Dan's family and friends, and had the pleasure of helping his mom and dad in a hard time.
I love it up there. It's just so different from here, and I think that could be something Dan and I both need.
I wish I could say that I took this photo... well technically I did - clicked the button that is. But the artsy side of this shot is all because of sir Vic Sison- the famous Filipino Paintography Artist.
I first heard that word during our basic photography session in FPPF. But it was in our advanced class that I truly understood what paintography meant. TO PAINT WITH LIGHT LITERALLY. Seeing sir Vic demonstrate it seemed so easy but when I tried it myself, I couldnt produce the same result. Obviously it takes a lot of practice to produce such an amazing photo- with no photoshop involved. But now that I know how, its a matter of time before I could create a real light painted masterpiece. Big Thanks to sir VIC SISON for introducing the concept! And to FPPF -of course- for the oppurtunity.
If,polavaram project takes place we will miss such a nice oppurtunity to eyewitness the beauty of this GODAVARI.

Day 2 of our diving adventures began on dive site 777, followed by Tuna Alley. Our first oppurtunity to spear the invasive Lion Fish as well, there are many videos to go with this set of photos. An amazing day, started with a fantastic breakfast cooked on board.
She was first to model for me.....so inspired as I had not gotten any oppurtunity to shoot kids....a whole lots different as they (kids) can become impatient. She was near pro level as I had to shoot this repeatedly a few times to get it right..under the heating sun,.
This photo was taken after my worst night of sleep ever, in a tent near a roadhouse close to Tom Price. We had to get up early to go swimming at the spectaculair Karijini Waterfalls before the crowds would appear. If it wasn't for our busdriver, we would have missed this photo oppurtunity, because everyone was fast asleep.
I have been feeding this fox and finally got an oppurtunity to photo him in day light. Fabulous animal.
