Who am I kidding. I'm loosing my mind. I should probably slow down with these summer shenanigans, if you catch my drift. ANYWHO I have no direction at all in my life and it feels sooooo nice. I've come to the conclusion that things are so much more easier when you just don't care. I know in the back of my mind I should about certian things, but the world in all reality is a simple and beautiful place and life can take you anywhere it pleases. I trust my destiny and it's decision for me. I've noticed alot of people freaking out about recycling and pollution more than just sitting back and smelling the flowers that they are trying to save. We should be greatful for what masterpieces of art that nature paints for us every day and not forget what we have. Even the ivy and dandilions that are constantly weeded and destroyed are beautiful. I am so honored to have the oppurtunity to live on this planet. Who knows where we might have ended up before or what even worse troubles than war and hate are in our neighboring galaxies. We are so lucky to be here. Whatever force or science brought life to this earth I am forever greatful to. I hope I remember this wonderful place wherever death takes me in the end. It's too breathtaking to forget.

The Best Squad Competition is an All American Week tradition where squads from throughout the Division complete an obstacle course, a warrior skills lane, a combat lifesave skills lane, and a stress shoot for time. All American Week is an oppurtunity for Paratroopers, past and present, to come together and celebrate the history, heritage and pride of being a member of the All American Division. This year's All American Week theme is, "Celebrating a Century of Service!"
Bhakti Summer Sangha 2016
The second year of the Bhakti Summer Sangha was a great success, as it gave an oppurtunity to the younger generations to explore spirituality and practice activities such as meditation, kirtan, satsang, seva, and much more among their own peers.
The Summer Sangha has a schedule built around the 9 forms of Bhakti, so that each day the kids and young adults a taste of each of the forms of devotion. The participants are getting a chance to participate in workshops on music, on meditation, and throughout everything, on building a deeper and sweeter relationship to God - in the Guru, in His many many avatars, in the people, and especially within themselves.

We were looking for the Juvenile Great Northern Diver which we did see but it did not present us with photographic oppurtunities.

had a congregation do at pennington flash and a bro snapped his ankle while playing football it was horrible but the upside was that the air ambulance came to take him to the hospital so i pounced ont the oppurtunity and got a few snaps!
My sister was given the oppurtunity to do some interior design work for one of the homes featured in this year's Homearama.

The hugly anticipated event of the year to happen in Manchester, this is Jenson Button's McLaren F1 which raced down Deansgate.
The noise of the engine revving proper went through me like never before but was well worth the photo oppurtunity!
This is the only decent enough shot I have of it, although I do have some shots taken (indirectly) of the crowds which will also appear on here in due course!

A wild tigress patrols her territory one summer morning, in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in northern India's Rajasthan state.
This particular tigress T17 is very camera friendly and often poses for tourists. She is said to be the daughter of 'Machili', a widely known and photographed tigresses in this park.
I sighted my first tiger one summer afternoon at Bandipur Tiger Reserve, I guess, in 1981 - 82. This was on an elephant back during a trip with my immediate family. I was 6 or 7 then and the tigress was with its cubs at a waterhole. Although I have occasionally seen tigers in the wild ever since, I never got this close to one with a camera. On 25 June this year, I made my decent use of this oppurtunity, 27 - 28 years later.

This armchair is an elaboration on the ‘Military’ theme. Its basic construction is similar to that of the Military Chair. Rietveld added armrests and, more importantly, took this oppurtunity to provide the design with a seat and back support of laminated wood. This gives the chair a resiliency and degree of comfort lacking in the previous models.

On holiday with my good friend Andres, decided to play around with a borrowed lens from my good friend joey ;) . It was a rare oppurtunity to use such a professional lens and it really captures the most minute details. See "Maxi" the German shepards hair, with Andres and his father softened with f2.8 blur

It's a great learning experience to shoot the same butterfly in different ways as it was very relaxed when I saw it. One should never miss such oppurtunity and also try different ways to capture the same instead of capturing one shot. I gave prime importance to learning to get sharp focus on its eyes, but its very difficult to do that.
Also I got great oppurtunity to learn to create photo collage in GIMP software which I thought is difficult to achieve in GIMP. Learning to use GIMP requires lots of patience but the video tutorials helps you to make things possible quickly. This video helped me to create the collage: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6V1ule9T7Zo .
I layed out collage canvas in 8000x6000px resolution. The "Golden" gradient with rectangular vortex you see on the background took around 20 minutes to generate. I have AMD FX 6300 6-crore processor with 8 GB RAM. I wonder whether Photoshop will be much faster or not?
Anyways thanks to the single butterfly that gave me so much oppurtunity to learn. I would call this "Butterfly effect" of learning. :D ;)

Aliice and Chloe are two VERY talented models. I would've liked to take more photos of them, but this was not my project (this was an in-between shot and I just happened to have my camera). They are not only goregous girls, but they are very self directed and have their own ideas for shoots, as well.
Hopefully, this is not the last time I have the oppurtunity to shoot these two girls.. it was a pleasure!

Got a rare oppurtunity to go over to Arran for the day and grabbed it with both hands even though the weather looked rather grim. Decided to at least get some exercise so hiked up into Glen Sannox - what a view!. The clouds even cleared to let me take some photos (after thoroughly soaking me first) - happy days :)
Maybe I'll try Glen Rosa next time...
I couldn't let the heat beat me this weekend to getting the rare oppurtunity of capturing the magnificence of these Tall Ships in Boston Harbor. The temperature gauge may have read mid 90s but that didn't put a stop to the thousands out this weekend thinking the same thing I was.
In taking this frame I tried to capture the one tall ship being flanked by the other while avoiding the heads of the crowds of other amateur photographers and onlookers.
Taken with the Canon PowerShot SX230HS cropped slightly (to get rid of some unwanted human heads), no other post processing.

Here is a summer IR photo to remind us of the upcoming season. Camera was probably a little unlevel. This church is in Knox County, Missouri.
This would now be an oppurtunity to tell a most unusual story while out photographing about 3 weeks ago. A friend went with me while it was snowing to help if I got stuck and just to get outside. First adventure out after my back got better. We stopped at an undisclosed schoolhouse and were taking pictures from the road and a man came by and asked if we needed help since it was snowing heavy. Ended up he had a key to the schoolhouse which was also a hunters gathering place. We went inside and then to the back room and my friend noticed it first and said," Isn't that a coffin?' He said yes and that there was even a body in there! The coffin was an antique one with nice wood and was a short one, 5 feet maybe. He opened it up and there was adult human bones in there and instantly I could tell that they were real. The coffin was never buried and the bones supposedly came from an auction and in turn came from a lodge.?! Nevertheless I got to hold a human skull in my hands whereas probably 10 minutes before I was taking pictures in the snow of a schoolhouse in the country with hardly anyone on the road. I always run into these strange suprises in life and continue to welcome them.

Hannah happened to go up the hill of mud when the Camp staff manning the water hose had left. So she took the oppurtunity to grab it and hose down everyone behind her. She loved it, as is apparent in the next photograph.
