This particular lodging was a challenge. Not going back. But the red carpet and curtains and almost bordello-like feel does look picturesque in a certain light.

At this month's Open MAKE: Tools event, visitors were invited to explore their own creativity with our four Featured Makers from around the Bay Area, who shared their art, ingenuity, and techniques.
Guests made needle-felted creatures with Moxie, created three-dimensional shapes by sewing sheets of fabric together with Judy Castro, fused plastic with clothes irons, used sewing needles and conductive thread to make circuits embedded in bracelets and badges, and used motors and other tools to take Light Painting to a whole new level.

With only a few weeks until the NEW Ashington Leisure Centre opens to the public on January 2015, staff are busy training (and sampling) all the amazing facilities this centre will provide - including the amazing Tranquillity Spa!

Birmingham Moor Street Station, West Midlands.
Rebuilt for Chiltern Railways 2011-2013 and fitted with sliding plug doors and toilets with retention tanks. Original InterCity 70 seating retained but mainly arranged around tables.
Formerly numbered 12069.
12608 is seen in Birmingham Moor Street station having arrived from London Marylebone Station being hauled by Class 67 67018 - Keith Heller. This vehicle is allocated to Chiltern Railways Mark 3 coaching set AL02.

Open Streets Minneapolis temporarily closes major thoroughfares to car traffic and opens them up for walking, biking, skating, and other active transportation. One goal is giving Minneapolis residents an opportunity to rethink streets as public space. On this day, from 11am to 5pm, Lake Street was closed between Elliot and Minnehaha and Minnehaha Avenue was closed between Lake and Godfrey Parkway.
