I was never intending on posting this photo as the original isn't very good (this one isn't anything to shout out about either). In the original, I had mostly exposed for the outside, leaving the inside very dark but thanks to the wonders of RAW editing, I was able to pull out all the details. Unfortunately, those details are a little grainy.
I'm not sure of the function of this building. Behind the point where I took this photo were a couple of small rooms with the remains of soap dispensers and signs that a toilet was once located in it so this may have been some kind of staff room or canteen? I'm not sure why people have to mind their heads, though.

Description of work: The Elizabeth Evans Baker Peace Chapel (originally named Open-Air Peace Chapel by Lin) occupies a 14-acre site in the 170-acre Baker-Henry Nature Preserve near the Juniata College campus. Lin was drawn to two areas: a large hilltop that was the center of the site, and a densely wooded secluded ridge that was several hundred feet away that had a view of the other site. Those two sites are considered gathering places, one public and one private. She designed a 40-foot diameter circle of rough granite stones embedded in the top of the hill for the larger public space, and a 4-foot diameter smooth granite disk that is embedded at the top of the ridge which was to be a private meditation area. A series of 24 polished granite steps lead from the footpath to the circle of stones.
