Looks like a great allroad tool. Here with 32mm tires that provide the best of both worlds
The Open Book in Richmond upon Thames is my favourite independent bookshop for miles around. It may appear small from the outside, but within its doors and stretching back for yards are shelves and shelves and shelves of the most wonderful reading available.
It’s also the bookshop of choice for luminaries such as Sir David Attenborough, Michael Frayn, Claire Tomalin and Bamber Gascoigne, all of whom live locally. Just a minute or two’s walk from Richmond Green, it’s a veritable treasure trove of the printed word.
The Open Book has been part of Richmond’s life since it was founded in 1987, and despite the seemingly relentless onslaught of online behemoths, chain stores and e-books, this wonderful independent retailer stands proud.
Part of the reason for its success is its knowledgeable and welcoming staff, against whom the giants are helpless. Long may it remain so!

King Romeo II of the 4Km Pride was seen sitting in the savannah plains basking in the early morning sunrise, enjoying a yawn whilst his family was all nearby waiting for breakfast to be served.

I was folding the open-back version of the 3.6.3.6 pattern that had seen on borut miklus' beautiful photostream and when I stopped and looked at an intermediate step I noticed that it formed an almost perfect circle with great ornaments. so I decided to put several of those circles in a line.
this particular rendition is more of a proof of concept. anybody else smell a bookmark in there? ; )
Eastern Garter Snake
This beautiful snake was up against the corner of the house and was very cautious to move too close to me. It wasn't aggressive at all, in fact it yawned and showed me its big pink fang-less mouth. These snakes do have tiny teeth and will bite if they feel threatened.
A recipe book lying open with my reading glasses sitting on the book .... not that I was preparing any food 😉

Oral hygiene, early a.m. - a very small garden spider rinses her mouth and fangs with a freshwater mouthwash. I offered her some Listerine, but she just spat it out :-)
I'm working away madly on my new "Shapes" book. I'm still expecting it to be ready before Christmas. Here's an Open Window Series pendant I created for it. The texture is called "Four Play" by Pixie Art Stamps (pixieartstamps.com/) which is a new line of stamps by my husband Mike. It also features my favorite focal point - a button - on a cotter pin.
