I seem to remember a few years ago that because of a territorial spat whereby Stagecoach spread south westwards from their traditional old Devon General area, First retaliated by moving into the Torbay open top market. Here in the summer of 2007 one of their converted ex Bristol Roe bodied Leyland Olympians A813 THW heads into Torquay with a less than impressive load.

Miltalie school was a one teacher school which opened in 1915 to service the local area which is north-west of Cowell on Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. It had 11 female teachers during its 20 year life.

This Blythe doll is Cinnamoroll for the theme “Door” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The boy is Ken from the movie Barbie. This gorgeous door is from Byer’s Choice; it’s free-standing, so it wasn’t hard to set up different scenes on each side of it.

The Palio della Marciliana, the third weekend of June, evokes the magic of a long gone era with the historical re-enactment of the war against Genoa in 1379, when after 10 months of siege the city was finally saved, defeating the enemies in a epic battle in the centre of town.
