What started as a daily cycling round early March, where I could see and follow the first buds of blossoms on the trees, is now at the stage of Autumn.

A very cold day in Rotterdam

Left of the Laan van Meerdervoort -and the rest of the country- was the mist.

To the right -to the coast- it was very sunny and bright.

Sitting outside for 2 hours during a storm. Some sunlight was also seen. And rainbows.

Plaats, The Hague (not far from one of the royal palaces).

It was VERY cold and windy the evening I took this, so only managed the one shot.

A day of training during one of Belgium's hottest days

There was some bright sunlight (I just missed it) before it started raining again.

A beautiful fall day called for a walk with my dog through one of my favorite parks. Formally know as Linear Park, it covers both sides of a stream for right a mile or so.

Since I was taking the dog, I left the DSLR Nikon home and used my very impressive OnePlus 7 Pro and the Greatness v2.2 mod of Google Pixel Camera (GCam). 15 exposures were taken by the camera app to make this HDR+E shot.

Never realised catching up with friends was this dangerous.

I haven't been online a lot this past week. I had a week off to clear out my work room, hang up some new curtains and had some new carpet delivered.

It was a great opportunity to sort out and throw away some old stuff and clean up the rest. Now we're putting stuff together again, like this Kewlox closet which doesn't require tools, or nails or screws or anything.

When a baby is born in the Netherlands, it's tradition to eat 'beschuit met muisjes' (rusk with mice). Blue if it's a boy, pink if it's a girl. The 'mice' are aniseeds in a hard sugar coating (and the tails are the aniseed stems).

It feels a bit illegal to eat them as a normal breakfast. Lucky for me it was my brother's birthday (your honour).

Saw it flying in my parent's garden this morning and managed to capture it on my phone.

Today, we enjoyed the last bright sunlight of 2020 on a morning walk in Ockenburg.

The sky was very clear, but there was a haze of mist between the trees making for some awesome views.

Happy New Year everyone!

Part (about half) of the building called Chinese Muur (Great Wall of China), near my home.

When it was built in 1965, its 550m was the longest building in the Netherlands. It still is the longest in The Hague.
